Chilling Warning: Prepare for a Deadly Hybrid Attack | NATO Must Mount a Strong Response

Poland's foreign minister claimed that NATO members must prepare a strong response to Russia's deadly “hybrid” attack.

The Polish Foreign Minister claimed that the members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) should prepare themselves for a strong response against Russia's deadly "hybrid" attack.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, the Financial Times newspaper wrote, the statements of this Polish official were raised while concerns about the escalation of Russian sabotage operations on European soil have intensified.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski told this English newspaper: "The possibility that someone will be killed has increased because Russia has increased its operations to disrupt and destabilize European societies several times."

He acknowledged that the NATO alliance should consider how to respond to Russia's actions.

This Polish official stated: The problem is what the attack consists of, a border and long attack... This is an issue, but what will happen if more people are killed. Therefore, we will have to have serious negotiations in NATO.

Sikorsky declined to elaborate on how NATO would retaliate for the war casualties, but said Poland and Estonia have activated the alliance's Article 4 after drones and fighter jets violated their airspace, which calls for high-level negotiations and indicates that more action is needed.

The Financial Times wrote: Article 5 of NATO's mutual defense agreement will be activated if one of the member states is attacked. This article was activated only once after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 by al-Qaeda.

Poland and its neighbors have sounded the alarm by claiming Sabiri attacks and violating the airspace of these countries and sabotage attacks against European targets.

Last July, a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile landed in an area in eastern Poland and exploded.

Also, officials of five European intelligence agencies have told the Financial Times that their executives in European defense companies have been targeted by Russian agents.

The German intelligence agency recently warned about Russia's "shadow war" and its entry into a new and potentially deadly phase. Last month, Berlin blamed Moscow for organizing a drone attack on the country's airport.

Poland's foreign minister called on European allies to respond to the Kremlin's alleged attacks by closing consulates, preventing Moscow diplomats from freely traveling to these countries, and reducing the number of Russian diplomats - as Poland has done.

All Russians entering the EU should have biometric passports to prevent entry by agents with fake identities, Sikorsky said.

The statements of the Polish official were made during a visit to London. During this trip, he will try to use influence against England to force this country to invite Poland to the G20 summit in Manchester. This summit is scheduled to be held next year, and in return for this invitation, Warsaw will support the UK's reconciliation with the European Union. England will chair the G20 in 2027.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, Kaya Kalas, the head of foreign and security policy of the European Union, recently emphasized the continuation of economic pressures against Russia and announced that Brussels does not intend to back down from its embargo positions. Kalas wrote in a message on the X social network: "Now is not the time to reduce pressure on Russia, and Europe will not do that either."

He also warned that the suspension of sanctions related to Russian diesel could provide more income for Moscow. These statements show that the European Union continues to emphasize the use of economic tools to limit Russia's financial power.
