This historical series depicts Iran in the 19th century during the Qajar era and deals with issues such as class differences, power, social restrictions and confrontation between different classes of society. The interesting thing about the series is its presence as the first Iranian series in Cannes 2026.

Parsa Pirouzfar and Ali Shadman are among the most prominent actors of this series who play roles alongside Neda Jabraili, Pardis Pourabdini, Reza Behboudi and Pedram Sharifi. The story of the series revolves around a character named Nowruz (Ali Shadman), who is a young painter and gets involved in an emotional relationship with a gypsy woman, which over time, rule and power seeps into him and complicates the situation.

One of the important events of the series is the presence of a traveling family in the city, which had an encounter with the ruling agents, and Nowruz, who is forced to leave the city, meets a gypsy girl who was harmed by the ruling. The narration of the series continues to deal with the next events of this story and part of the story is supposed to be followed in a longer period of time.

With the change of the historical period, recreating the social atmosphere of that time becomes one of the important elements in the process of producing the work. Clothing design, decoration, location selection and representation of daily life, all play a role in shaping the narrative atmosphere of the story.
