Tabriz MP Criticizes: Do Not Protect Inefficient Managers Due to Political Affiliation!

Amid intensifying livelihood pressures, a lawmaker criticized the continued tenure of inefficient managers backed by factional support, calling for meritocracy to take priority and for vulnerable groups to be protected.

Alireza Navin, the representative of the people of Tabriz in the Islamic Council, referring to the economic pressures on the people and the need to strengthen public satisfaction, said: despite the pressures of the enemy, the government is carrying out its actions and the parliament is also following its supervisory duties. The questioning of ministers and the discussion of impeachment of some cabinet members, especially in the field of people's livelihood, are being seriously pursued, which can definitely be effective and hopefully lead to favorable results.

The necessity of promoting the culture of thrift and optimal consumption

Referring to the role of culture in managing difficult economic conditions, he said: Islam has always emphasized on the optimal use of facilities, frugality, contentment, supporting each other and helping fellow humans in difficult times. Today, we should pay more attention to these teachings in our daily life.

This member of the Parliament's Construction Commission stated that part of the energy consumption problems are due to wrong habits in daily life: for example, sometimes in a house that has several lamps, all the lamps are left on unnecessarily, or in the winter season, even though the heating system is on, the windows are left open. In the current situation, we should correct our consumption habits and avoid unnecessary consumption of energy even at home by wearing warmer clothes.

Navin further stated: Campaigns related to the management of energy consumption and other resources should be strengthened so that people know that every person can contribute to the country's overcoming of shortages and problems by correcting a part of their consumption behavior.

Radio and cultural institutions should enter the field to correct the consumption pattern

The representative of the people of Tabriz in the Islamic Council, emphasizing the role of the media in building culture, said: Radio and television should act more seriously and effectively in this field. Past experiences have shown that educational programs and animations produced for children can have a significant impact on the behavior of families.

Referring to some old television programs in the field of teaching correct behavior to children, this member of parliament added: Just as in the past, programs such as "Baba Burghhi" were used to promote the culture of correct consumption of electricity, today the capacity of children's and adolescent programs can be used so that children, in addition to learning correct behaviors, also encourage adults to fasten seat belts, turn off extra lamps and follow the correct consumption pattern.

He went on to emphasize: preachers, scholars, teachers, university professors and all people who have a platform and an opportunity to influence society should address this issue according to the current conditions of the country and invite people to consume optimally and help each other. If each person tries his best to manage consumption, we can overcome existing problems and shortages with more power.

The inefficiency of managers should not be hidden behind political considerations

Referring to the necessity of reforming management approaches in the country, this member of parliament said: One of our problems is that sometimes we politicize all issues, while today we have to talk honestly with the people and accept that solving their livelihood problems should be prioritized.

Navin added: Whatever thoughts our manager has, he should know that solving people's problems is a priority. If we cannot solve people's problems, we will definitely face more difficulties and consequences. Therefore, the president, ministers and other officials should consider the competence and ability of people in the selection and evaluation of managers.

Criticizing the continued activity of some inefficient managers due to factional and intellectual considerations, he said: sometimes there are people in managerial positions who do not have enough ability or knowledge to perform their duties, but due to intellectual and political alignment, it is not possible to change them. This approach harms the country and people in the current situation.

The representative of the people of Tabriz in the Islamic Council stated: The officials should both fear God and feel responsible for the fate of the people. We should not leave people alone in difficult economic conditions and allow incompetent managers to continue their work. Today, the country needs managers who have a spirit of jihad, work with motivation and are ready to work around the clock to solve problems.

Referring to the necessity of avoiding discrimination in the management system, Navin pointed out: You cannot support a manager simply because of his intellectual or factional affiliation; While he may receive high salaries and benefits, his inefficiency will cause considerable damage to the country.

Supporting institutions and capable people should come to the government's aid

In another part of this conversation, he emphasized the necessity of strengthening social solidarity in the conditions of economic war and stated: Today, we all must understand the conditions of the country correctly and know that we are in a war situation. Although the government has taken measures that have made people still have access to the goods they need in many cases, the cost and difficulties of providing the necessities of life still exist.

Emphasizing the necessity of the participation of support organizations and charities in reducing people's livelihood pressures, Navin said: People with financial power and economic facilities should also come to the field and help the vulnerable groups.

He added: Institutions such as Farman Imam's Executive Headquarters, Alavi Foundation, Mostafzafan Foundation and Astan Quds Razavi, along with charities and other non-governmental groups, have capacities that can be used to help the government and support the people. All these groups are expected to work with a sense of responsibility so that we can overcome the current problems.

People should avoid impulsive purchases and stockpiling of goods

The representative of the people of Tabriz in the Islamic Council also pointed to the effect of public behavior on the mental peace of the society and stated: One of the important issues in the current situation is to avoid emotional behavior in the purchase of needed goods. It is not a good behavior for people to fill their refrigerators and freezers more than they need out of concern, and it can affect public concern and market conditions.

Navin added: People may do such an action because they are worried about the future, but it should be noted that in a war situation, the responsibility of managing the situation is on all of us and we should not aggravate the worries by buying more than necessary.

In the end, he emphasized: the authorities should start from themselves first, enter the field seriously to solve people's problems, and by making correct decisions and using efficient managers, provide the basis for increasing public trust. On the other hand, people can play an important role in increasing the resilience of the society and overcoming the current difficult situation by following the correct pattern of consumption, avoiding extravagance and emotional purchases and helping each other.
