Mousavi: The unity and responsible presence of the people is the basis of the defense of the country

Zanjan - Zanjan interim imam, emphasizing that confronting the threats and aggression of enemies requires solidarity and public participation, said: Unity and responsible presence of the people is the basis of the defense of the country.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjat-ul-Islam Mir Yaqoub Mousavi, in his Friday prayer sermons this week in Zanjan, explained the concepts of Surah Saf, verse 10, believing in God and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and jihad with wealth and life in the way of God, and said: This verse emphasizes the path that saves believers from painful divine punishment and leads to happiness and salvation.

Stating that the ability of people to participate in different fields is different, he added: Not all people have the possibility to be directly present in the field, but everyone can participate in the defense of the Islamic society according to their capacity and facilities.

The temporary imam of Zanjan continued by referring to the concept of defensive jihad: when a land or a society is exposed to aggression and violation, its defense becomes important and confronting the aggressors becomes an important responsibility.

Mousavi listed empathy, like-mindedness and cooperation among the factors of strengthening the power of the society against the enemies and said: maintaining social cohesion and using the different capacities of the people is of fundamental importance in the way of defending the country and dealing with threats.

Referring to the rewards promised by God for the believers, he mentioned the forgiveness of sins, entering heaven and benefiting from divine blessings among these promises, and he considered martyrdom in the way of God as one of the highest levels of sacrifice.

The interim Friday imam of Zanjan also pointed to the actions of the Zionist regime and emphasized the need to confront this regime and what he described as enmity with the Islamic world.

In another part of his sermons, Mousavi considered the observance of divine piety to be the basis for enjoying God's mercy and improving the spiritual status of man, and advised the worshipers to avoid sin and adhere to religious teachings.

Congratulating the birthday of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH) and Nurse's Day, he appreciated the efforts of the nursing community and considered her life as a valuable model for a faithful and responsible life.

Referring to the responsibility of parents towards their children, the temporary imam of Zanjan said: choosing a good name, teaching the Holy Quran and raising children on the basis of politeness and ethics are among the important duties of families, and correct education has a significant impact on the formation of children's character and behavior.

Stating that children are also responsible to their parents, he added: Respecting parents and obeying them is necessary, but this obedience should not lead to disobedience to God.

Reaction to hijab restrictions in the Republic of Azerbaijan

In the continuation of his speech, Mousavi pointed out the restrictions related to the hijab in the Republic of Azerbaijan and said: Considering that the majority of the people of this country are Muslims, the protests against these restrictions are rooted in their religious beliefs.

He rejected attributing these protests to the interference of Iran and Turkey and emphasized on the religious and religious background of these reactions.

He considered the construction of Hazrat Zainab's (PBUH) courtyard in Karbala as one of the important plans for the development of pilgrimage sites and, referring to the completion process of this project, emphasized the need for participation and support to advance it.
