Nomadic Handicrafts Sales Center Inaugurated in Ilam Province

Ilam - The Director General of Nomadic Affairs for Ilam Province said today that the province's nomadic handicrafts sales center has been inaugurated.

According to Mehr reporter, Farshad Yasmi on Wednesday evening at the ceremony and opening of this nomadic handicraft center considered it a valuable manifestation of the cultural identity, historical authenticity and artistic taste of the nomadic community and emphasized the necessity of protecting this precious heritage and providing a suitable environment for the introduction and proper supply of indigenous products.

Pointing to the role of handicrafts in economic prosperity and strengthening the livelihood of nomadic households, he listed the development of the market for selling products, supporting artists and producers, and utilizing the capacity of cooperatives in organizing production and economic activities as requirements for empowering the nomadic community.
