Tehran's Milad Tower Renamed

Tehran's mayor has proposed a new name for Tehran's Milad Tower.

Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, issued a decree to change the name of "Tehran Milad Tower" to "Tehran Milad Tourism and Entertainment Company".

According to Sedavasima, in the decree of the mayor of Tehran, the organization and development of urban tourism, the introduction of the historical, cultural, tourism and recreational capacities of the capital and the restoration and optimal exploitation of the cultural and historical heritage are among the missions of this company.

Also, Abbas Heydari, who was previously the CEO of Milad Tower in Tehran, was appointed as the CEO of Milad Tehran Tourism and Entertainment Company based on this ruling.
