The glory of thought Ayatollah Javadi Amoli; From the secret of "Rahman" to the truth of the Qur'an's light in human life

In the intellectual system of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, the Quran is more than a book for recitation, it is a light on the way to know the truth and reach happiness. An interpreter who explains concepts such as "light", "illumination" and "mercy", talks about the deep connection between divine teaching, revelation and human education.

According to the Missionary Thought and Culture Base, from Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's point of view, the Holy Quran is not only a book for recitation and worship; Rather, it is a divine light for humans to pass through the darkness of ignorance and achieve happiness. Relying on concepts such as "light", "light" and "mercy", this prominent commentator explains the position of the Qur'an in the guidance of man and talks about the connection between divine teaching, revelation and the role of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in explaining the teachings of this divine book.

According to the narrative of Fars, in the field of Islamic and Shiite thought, Ayatollah Sheikh Abdullah Javadi Amoli is one of the well-known figures in the fields of jurisprudence, philosophy, mysticism and interpretation of the Qur'an. Years of benefiting from the presence of professors such as Ayatollah Borujerdi, Allameh Tabatabai and Imam Khomeini (RA) played a role in the formation of his scientific personality. Among the many fields of his scientific activity, Quranic studies and the interpretation of the Word of Revelation have a central position.

In the intellectual system of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, the knowledge of the Quran begins first of all with regard to the truth and its place in the system of divine guidance. The Qur'an is a book that God himself knows the truth of better than any other being and has introduced it to man under the title of "Light". As he says in verse 15 of Surah Ma'idah: "There has come to you from God a light and a clear book"; A light and an enlightening book has come to you from God.

This divine light guides man and society from the darkness of ignorance and misguidance to the light. The Qur'an is also introduced with the title "Tabayan"; A concept that, in the opinion of this commentator, indicates the enlightening and guiding role of the Qur'an in explaining human knowledge and basic needs. Based on this, the Qur'an is a source of guidance and knowledge in the path of man's achievement of happiness.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, in explaining the comprehensiveness of the Qur'an, emphasizes that divine teachings, morals, and instructions that open the way for human life are presented in this heavenly book; But this comprehensiveness does not mean that all the details of human sciences and knowledge are directly mentioned in the Qur'an. In this context, he writes: "The Qur'an's inclusion of all knowledge, morals, and divine and human actions is not coded, ambiguous, or enigma, etc.; Rather, it is clear; Because God Almighty has mentioned the completeness of the Qur'an in relation to all Islamic principles as "explanation".

The secret that lies in the name "Rahman".

One of the important axes in the interpretation of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli is the connection between the knowledge of God and the knowledge of the general principles of the Qur'an. Referring to the beginning of Surah Al-Rahman, he explains God's position as the true teacher of the Qur'an; Where he says: "The Merciful, the Knower of the Qur'an, the Creator of Man, the Knower of the Word"; The Merciful God taught the Qur'an, created man and taught him speech.

In this view, God is not only the source of revelation, but also the most knowledgeable authority to know the truth and teachings of the Qur'an. Therefore, understanding the position of this divine book is connected with the knowledge of divine attributes and especially the attribute of mercy.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, in explaining the place of the name "Rahman", writes: "The noble name of Rahman, which indicates the comprehensiveness of all aspects of mercy, in Mashhad, some of the masters of witness, this name has special greatness, like the name of Mubarak Allah. Rahman, the sum of all other good names, is the starting point of the teaching of the Qur'an so that man can learn the lesson of absolute mercy in the school of the Merciful God.

According to this understanding, the beginning of the teaching of the Qur'an with the name "Rahman" carries a message beyond the introduction of a divine attribute. In the light of this teaching, man is called to learn mercy, forgiveness and avoid anger and revenge. From this point of view, getting rid of the bondage of revenge and restraining anger is a reason to distance yourself from oppression and get closer to divine morality.

This doctrine can also be examined in the light of verse 29 of Surah Fatah; Where the Qur'an says about the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH): They are firm against the disbelievers and kind among themselves. In the framework of this interpretation view, steadfastness against the enemy is associated with kindness and compassion in human relations. Mercy, in addition to its social impact, also helps to elevate the human spirit; Because by distancing oneself from anger and oppression, a person gets closer to the morality that the Qur'an has outlined for individual and collective life.

Another topic of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's interest is how the Qur'an was revealed and the place of the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) heart in receiving revelation. In explaining this issue, he emphasizes the divine truth of the Qur'an and its revelation in the guise of truth and writes: "Glory be to God, from the beginning of its revelation to the end of its revelation, he placed this great divine book in the guise of truth and in speaking the truth, so that it descends to its original position, where the heart of a "perfect human being" and a researcher in it and fulfilled in it descends. Nazla.

This verse, which is found in Surah Isra, verse 105, indicates the revelation of the Qur'an to the truth and its association with the truth. In the interpretation of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, the revelation of the Qur'an on the heart of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is related to his special position in receiving and communicating revelation. The heart of a perfect human being is a container for receiving knowledge whose truth and greatness are beyond the normal capacity of humans.

Based on this, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is not only the recipient of revelation, but is also responsible for teaching the book and explaining its teachings. In the Qur'anic system, God introduces the Prophet as a teacher of the book and wisdom, and in this way, the place of the mission in the transmission and explanation of divine knowledge is clarified.

From this point of view, knowledge of the Qur'an will not be complete without considering the position of the Prophet (PBUH) and his role in teaching and explaining the revelation. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the mediator of receiving and communicating this divine book, and by explaining its teachings, he paves the way for people to benefit from the guidance of the Qur'an.

From the school of Rahman to the light of heaven and earth

In the thought of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, the concepts of "Light", "Light" and "Rahman" together provide an image of the position of the Quran in the guidance of man. Quran is light, because it removes the darkness of ignorance and misguidance; It is an explanation, because it clarifies the principles and teachings that guide human happiness; And its teaching begins with the name "Rahman" so that the connection between divine guidance and mercy is in the center of attention.

In this context, Surah al-Rahman emphasizes the importance of divine guidance in human life by prioritizing the teaching of the Qur'an over the creation of man. The name of Rahman is also a reminder that the teaching of the Qur'an is meaningful in the context of mercy, and by learning these teachings, a person is guided towards morality based on kindness, forgiveness and avoiding oppression.

Also, the revelation of the Qur'an on the heart of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his responsibility in teaching and explaining the teachings of revelation is another part of this intellectual system. In this view, the Qur'an is a book of guidance, and the Prophet (PBUH) by receiving and explaining it, clarifies the path of understanding and practicing the divine teachings for the human society.

The result of these discussions is that, in the eyes of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, Quranic studies is not limited to just knowing words and concepts; Rather, it is connected with knowing God, recognizing the position of the Prophet (PBUH) and paying attention to the moral and guiding role of revelation. Such an approach takes the Qur'an beyond a text just for reading and introduces it as a guide for knowing the truth and organizing the individual and social life of a person.
