Our partnership with JAFF Market and mylab gives Australian filmmakers an opportunity to engage with the region's creative and production networks while their projects are still taking shape, says Matt Casting, managing director and creative director of the Adelaide Film Festival.

Lorena T, founder of mylab, said that international collaboration starts with understanding the filmmaker's vision and what each partner can bring. "Through our partnership with JAFF Market and the Adelaide Film Festival, we want to connect Australian filmmaking teams with producers in Indonesia and across Asia and build relationships that can shape their films and continue beyond the market," he said.

On the IP side, six of the 10 picks are Indonesian. They are "Kumarong" represented by Gilang Bhagaskara. "Mantra" board game presented by Seagate Ezra Prayoga. "We want producers to come to JAFF Market knowing that they can discover emerging films that have original IP with the potential to be shown," said JAFF Market Director Linda Guzali. "JFP and JIPCon bring filmmakers and IP representatives into dialogue with partners who can contribute creatively, help structure finance and connect stories with audiences. Our ambition is to turn this discovery into sustainable collaboration and strengthen Indonesia's role as a creative and production partner."
