The duty of non-profit universities' one-time admission courses was clarified

The Higher Education Development Office announced the criteria for determining the assignment of fields with a one-time admission license in universities and non-governmental non-profit institutions based on the number of faculty members.

According to Mehr reporter, the Office of Higher Education Development has announced the criteria for determining the assignment of fields with a one-time admission license from 2016 in universities and non-governmental-non-profit higher education institutions. Based on these criteria, the status of student admission in 1405 and the conversion of one-time admission permits to definitive permits is determined based on the number of faculty members of universities and institutions.

This issue was raised in the meeting No. 988 of the Council for the Development of Higher Education, dated 5 Bahman 1404, and it was agreed with the proposed model for determining the assignment of fields with a one-time admission license.

This decision has been taken in continuation of the previous circulars of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology regarding the inclusion and updating of the information of full-time faculty members and full-time lecturers in the higher education system and obtaining the approval of the Center for Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance of the Ministry of Science.

Criteria for master's and bachelor's courses

According to the announced resolution, in master's degrees, the decision criterion will be the number of full-time faculty members in the educational subgroup, and in the undergraduate level, the number of full-time faculty members in the educational group.

Based on this, universities and institutions without faculty members will not be allowed to accept students in the fields subject to these criteria in 1405. These institutions will have one year, only in the academic year 1406-1405, to meet the conditions and obtain a definitive license, and if the deficiencies are not resolved, the license of the field will be canceled.

Also, universities and institutions with one or two faculty members will only have the possibility of extending the one-time admission license for 1405 and must provide the necessary conditions to receive a definitive license within the one-year period; Otherwise, the field license will be revoked.

On the other hand, a one-time admission license for universities and institutions with three or more full-time faculty members becomes a definitive license.

Conditions of associate and undergraduate courses

In non-continuous associate and bachelor degrees, the decision criterion is the total number of faculty members of the university or non-governmental-non-profit higher education institution.

Based on this, institutions with one to three faculty members will not be allowed to admit students in fields subject to a one-time admission permit in 1405, and they will have one academic year, i.e. 1406-1405, to meet the necessary conditions and obtain a definitive permit. If the conditions are not met within the stipulated period, the one-time admission permit will be canceled.

On the other hand, one-time admission permits for non-consecutive associate and bachelor programs in universities and institutions with four or more faculty members will become definitive permits.
