Hezbollah Housing Project for Displaced Persons Launched

The head of Hezbollah's executive council announced the launch of a new housing project for displaced persons, saying, 'We will fulfill the promise of Martyr Nasrallah.'

According to Ambassador Arjan, while Hezbollah announced a plan to create housing and shelter and deal with the displaced people's case during the past few days, today the press conference of Sheikh Ali Sotboosh, the head of Hezbollah's executive council, started to announce this project under the title of "Promise and Commitment".

No conspiracy will break the will of the resistance community

At the beginning of his speech in this conference, Sheikh Utboush announced: We have gathered today to renew our pact with Seyed Shahada of Resistance, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah. We also make a new pact with Sheikh Naeem Qasim, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, as well as with our loyal, devoted and patient nation.

He added: "We make a pact with all of them and we renew our commitment to continue this path that we have chosen to defend our people and our country, regardless of the sacrifices." We trust in God and we are loyal to the strength of our warriors and the stability of our dear people who have not been shaken by any challenge.

This Hizbollah official emphasized: Our people are steadfast in their commitment to the path of resistance and choosing it, and they adhere to their legitimate right to defend the land. For this reason, the enemy has not been able to weaken our determination to defend the truth, freedom and resistance.

The head of Hezbollah's executive council said: Resistance has deep roots among our people and these people always stand against any conspiracy designed against resistance. Because this resistance is their soul and life and the protector of their present and future in the face of occupation and Zionist ambitions.

Sheikh Ali Utboosh further stated: The past experiences are engraved in the memory of our people, and even today, the whole world is witnessing the crimes of the Zionist invaders against Lebanon. That too in the situation that the Lebanese government has given up the sovereignty over the country and sold it to the enemy.

The Lebanese government sold the land and sovereignty to the Zionists

He continued: The Lebanese authorities signed the document of selling Lebanon to the Zionists and established their occupation in the south and did unjust actions that harmed the people and ignored their sacrifices. The Lebanese authorities have also not done anything to relieve the pain of the people. Rather, they try to deepen these pains with rhetoric that distorts the truth and incites violence against the martyrs.

The aforementioned Hizbollah official noted: The option of resistance is a national necessity that cannot be left out. The resistance, in its actions, has presented heroic epics that prevented the occupation of the south by the enemy and painted the most magnificent image of defending its existence for the homeland.

The resistance will not stop until the complete expulsion of the occupiers from Lebanon

The head of Hezbollah's executive council stated: The occupation of some areas in southern Lebanon by the Zionist enemy does not mean that the occupiers are able to stay in our land, but the resistance will not stop until they are completely expelled from our land.

Sheikh Ali Utabush emphasized: the balances are changing and the resistance will never surrender. Also, the Lebanese government cannot prevent the exercise of human, moral and legal rights of our people. The Lebanese government must return from its mistake and stop the series of unnecessary concessions and violations of the constitution and the national covenant.

This Hezbollah official continued: We ask all Lebanese to be aware of the sensitivity of the stage that the country is going through and instead of incitement and hatred, which only exacerbates the division and alienation between the parts of the society, to adopt the language of convergence and dialogue.

He added: We also emphasize our commitment to build a strong and just government based on national participation, as stipulated in the National Accord, a government that reassures all its citizens and supports the option of liberation in every way.

The head of Hezbollah's executive council continued to discuss the case of Lebanon's reconstruction and said: the government has not yet put this case on the path to resolution, either by trying to secure funds or by completing the mechanism for assessing damages and calculating compensation. But we in Hezbollah continue to serve our people and do our best for their honor and dignity.

Sheikh Ali Utboosh noted: No matter what we do, we cannot compensate for the sacrifices of our loyal people. We are ashamed of the martyr's mother who proudly holds her son's picture in her hand and is proud of what she has offered in the way of resistance.

He continued: We are ashamed in front of the child who swears to his martyred father to continue his path, and in front of the displaced family who have lost everything but have not given up their faith and refuse to give up their legitimate right to resist.

Hezbollah is loyal to its promise to the most honorable people

This senior Hezbollah official clarified: The work we are doing in the case of providing housing is only to serve our people and fulfill our promise to this patient and selfless nation, but our work does not replace the duty of the government.

The head of the Hezbollah Executive Council addressed the people of Lebanon and the resistance community and said: As Martyr Seyed Hassan Nasrallah said, you are the most honorable and dearest people and you have surprised the world with the greatness of your sacrifices. You resisted and persevered against the enemy's aggression and heavy blows, and no one could divert you from your honorable choice, which is the commitment to resistance and the unity of Lebanon.

Sheikh Utboush emphasized: We are loyal to the covenant we made with our people and none of the enemies' plots can hinder our responsibility to reduce the suffering of our people. We also prove once again that we never give up our responsibilities and do everything we can for the honor and pride of our nation.

Details of Hezbollah's housing plan for the injured

This Hezbollah official continued: Based on the commitment given by Sheikh Naeem Qasim to provide financial aid to the people, today we are announcing a housing program for those whose houses are destroyed or damaged and are no longer habitable. The purpose of this program is to help those who have been displaced from their homes and have no alternative housing.

He clarified: This program includes renting housing and buying household appliances; Similar to the program we implemented in 2024. This program also includes owners of residential units that have been completely or partially destroyed. In addition, people who have been displaced from the border areas or neighboring villages and are currently unable to return there due to the occupation of those areas by the Zionist regime, regardless of whether their houses have been destroyed or not, are included in this housing provision plan.

The head of Hezbollah's executive council said that the amount considered for residential units in Beirut and Dahiya is $14,000 and for those outside it is $12,000. This amount includes a housing rental allowance of $6,000 in the suburbs and $4,000 outside of it.

This Hezbollah official emphasized that we will start this project with the first payment of $3,500 for Dahiya and Beirut and $3,000 outside of them. These aids will be distributed in all areas of Lebanon that have been invaded, and we will treat the citizens based on their humanity and belonging to one nation.

We fulfill the promise of martyrs Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safiuddin

He stated that the Hezbollah teams conducted a comprehensive survey in the southern villages and cities and the southern suburbs of Beirut, and we formed specialized committees that are still completing the process of counting and checking eligible housing units.

Criticizing the government's inattention to the housing and reconstruction case in Lebanon, Sheikh Utboush said: "The government has not yet presented a plan to directly help the victims, and what it has done in the field of debris removal and the implementation of some projects is in the category of infrastructure renovation and does not directly reach the victims."

Addressing the people, especially the victims, the head of the Hezbollah Executive Council said: Dear people, this project has started and we will complete it and thanks to your cooperation, we will finish it as soon as possible. We tell our noble nation that the promise of Martyr Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Martyr Seyyed Hashim Safiuddin will be fulfilled by God's will and we will fulfill our moral duty towards our people with divine grace.
