Trump Has All the Tools Needed to Replace Zelensky, Former Ukrainian Prime Minister

According to Nikolai Azarov, the United States has every option to create a regime in Ukraine that can hold elections, pursue the peace process, and reach a normal agreement.

Moscow, October 12. /TASS/. Former Prime Minister of Ukraine (2010-2014) Mykola Azarov said that US President Donald Trump has all the possibilities to replace Volodymyr Zelensky.

Azarov said on the Russia-24 TV channel: Trump, that is, the American government, has absolutely all the possibilities not only to replace Zelensky, but also to create a more or less normal regime in Ukraine that can hold elections, follow the peace process and reach a normal agreement.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that elections should be held in Ukraine. The Wall Street Journal noted that the US leader's comments indicate that relations with Zelensky have deteriorated to their lowest point since last winter. Meanwhile, the Financial Times reported, citing unnamed European officials, that the U.S. government has threatened to end its arms procurement program and provide information to Ukraine.
