The Minister of Education, stressing that the main battlefield of the enemy today is the mental and intellectual space of students, called I'tikaf the best educational opportunity to vaccinate the young generation against deviations, and called for I'tikaf programs to focus on the student community.
Ambassador Arjan - Social Group: The Minister of Education, emphasizing the educational role of I'tikaf, said: "Today, the main battlefield is the mental space of students and future makers of this land, and students should be the most important audience of I'tikaf programs."
Alireza Kazemi, in the closing ceremony of the 11th National Itikaf Festival at the Imam Ali (AS) Army Officer University tonight, Thursday evening, 23 Mehr, by honoring the memory of Imam Shahada, martyred leader, commanders, scientists, innocent children and oppressed people who were martyred in the recent wars, said: In this place, we honor the memory of the martyred lieutenant general and the honor of the Islamic Republic of Iran system, who was one of the unique commanders in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as all the commanders of the valiant army of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He added: For my part, I would like to thank the brave soldiers of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, the dear soldiers and brave warriors of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various departments, as well as the sacrifices of the Islamic Republic of Iran's law enforcement forces.
The Minister of Education further said: Itikaf is one of the greatest rituals and spiritual events of the grassroots and mosque-oriented people of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He added: Therefore, retreat has a very strong and effective position and has been recommended. All the dear ones have joined hands to pay attention to this very valuable issue.
Kazemi said about the various dimensions of the effects of retreat in society: When we examine the issue of retreat from the perspective of its general effects in society, we can address various dimensions. One part is the political dimension of retreat; The strong faith that a person acquires in this ritual revives and revives the spirit of servitude, anti-tyranny and anti-arrogance in his being.
He continued: Itikaf also has many cultural and social aspects that should definitely be addressed. The works created by this very large community in the neighborhoods and atmosphere of the city are unique. Empathy, benevolence and attention to people are formed in these gatherings and have many cultural and social consequences.
Kazemi stated: In the document on the fundamental transformation of education, we consider the creation of growth-oriented educational situations as one of the most important strategies to achieve the goals of the document. That is, every school and every family that can create educational situations for their children so that they can practice and experience the teachings, can be successful in education.
He added: What we all have today is the result of these educational situations in which we have been placed. From the mosque, Basij, organizations and presence in the battlefields and different departments to dozens of other educational situations.
Referring to the difference between retreat and other educational situations, the Minister of Education said: Retreat can change the fate of a human being in the system of creation and existence. All that we follow in the educational teachings of the education system is gathered in the retreat, and from this point of view, we are facing a unique educational situation that changes the human path.
Kazemi emphasized: I say without hesitation that a student who participates in a retreat once, is vaccinated against dangers and deviations.
He continued: I don't have time to mention all the educational achievements of Itikaf. From self-knowledge, God-knowledge, friendship, worship, spirituality, patience and tolerance that the student experiences in practice, to dialogue and understanding and addressing the questions that are raised in the minds of our youth today.
The Minister of Education said: We look at the issue of retreat from this point of view and this issue is very important for us. Last year, we mobilized the education system with all our strength for this issue.
Kazemi stated: Today, the main battlefield is the mental space of the students and future makers of this land, that is, my children and yours. Therefore, Mr. Tekyai, the most important community of your audience in the matter of Itikaf should be dear students.
He added: We must open a new chapter for this issue, deal with it better and follow the work with different methods and the same beautiful view that Mr. Khosruppanah expressed.
The Minister of Education, referring to the model of holding the retreat, said: Alhamdulillah, you have been very successful and you have established a new popular and truly participatory model, the effects of which we all see at the level of society.
Kazemi continued: The presence of the people is very important and our own presence is also important, but what can secure and insure the future of the country is paying attention to the future generation. To be able to deliver a generation on the level of Quran to the society through these educational situations.
He clarified: This is the wish of our martyred leader and the wish of the fundamental transformation of education. I always say that there is no path better than these paths and there is no path better than prayer.
Referring to the upcoming plans, the Minister of Education said: God willing, we have detailed plans. We should definitely have a special meeting with Mr. Tekaei; A wide-ranging meeting throughout Iran and all education regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Kazemi added: The enemy seeks to weaken these areas and the culture of sacrifice and martyrdom. Therefore, we must know what we are doing and be aware of the importance of our actions.
Referring to the participation of students in last year's retreat, he said: As Mr. Tekayi also stated, last year more than 50% of the country's mosques were allocated to students in the retreat program. This was a great success, for which we thank God and our colleagues.
The Minister of Education added: 800,000 students went to mosques for the first time. For every six female students of the first secondary school, one female student and for every eight male students of the first secondary school, one male student was withdrawn, which is a very good statistic.
Kazemi continued: This statistic is in addition to the students who were present in these mosques along with other teenagers and young people.
He emphasized: However, our expectation is much more than this and we will definitely plan to provide much better opportunities for dear students to use this valuable educational opportunity.
The Minister of Education stated: This work requires synergy and appropriate measures, and we should all join hands together so that we can continue to be proud of the situation that the country is in and, Alhamdulillah, it has come out of it so far proudly, dignified and proud.
In the end, Kazemi said: We hope to be able to fulfill our mission in the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as God wants and as our Imam, martyr leader and martyrs want, and not be ashamed of our Imam, martyrs and martyr leader.
