Jihadi Service Delivery in Malayer; Healthcare Caravan Held in Babolqani Village

HAMADAN – The livestock health caravan drill was held today in Malayer with the presence of Saeed Ketabi, Malayer governor, and the Director General of Veterinary Affairs of Hamadan Province. Free veterinary and agricultural services were provided to villagers.

According to the reporter of Mehr, the exercise of the livestock health convoy was carried out on Wednesday evening with the participation of a group of officials from the executive and service providers with the aim of providing free services to livestock farmers, improving the level of animal health and safety, preventing livestock diseases and supporting the producers of the animal husbandry sector along with setting up a service desk for livestock affairs in Malayer city.

In the course of this program, free services, including livestock visits and treatment, spraying, deparasitism, vaccination and holding training classes were provided to livestock farmers and rural operators.

This exercise was organized by the local Jihadi camp of Shahid Hajiabadi, in cooperation with the General Department of Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Jihad, Barkat Foundation, Central District, Rural Cooperation, Basij Construction, Basij Engineers and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) area.

The holding of this jihadi caravan is a step in the direction of facilitating the access of livestock farmers in rural areas to specialized services, improving animal health, reducing treatment costs, and strengthening production in the animal husbandry sector of Malair city.

As one of the old and dynamic centers of livestock farming in the region, the village of "Bablqani" with more than 2,600 light and heavy livestock plays a strong and irreplaceable role in the stability of the cycle of food security and production of livestock products.

During the exercise of the animal health convoy, the issue of animal health and control of disease-causing foci was discussed as the first and most vital topic.

Director General of Veterinary Medicine of Hamadan province gave a promising report on the level of preventive measures in the gathering of the residents and livestock farmers of the region by explaining the important mission of this institution in protecting the national capital of livestock and public health.

Amirhossein Naqipour said: Since the beginning of this year, the entire livestock population of Babalqani village has been vaccinated and immunized completely free of charge against deadly, contagious and harmful diseases such as smallpox, plague of small ruminants and foot and mouth disease.

Appreciating the efforts of the special governor of Malair and the governor of Hamadan, he added: "With the large-scale follow-up carried out at the national level, there will be no shortage of livestock vaccines at the province and city level until the end of the year, and the government is standing by the producers' livestock health with all its might."

In the continuation of this exercise, in the form of a service desk, specialized veterinary groups did free clinical visits, spraying the places and bodies of animals, fighting against animal parasites and holding promotion courses, and in the framework of supporting the disadvantaged, they provided the necessary animal medicines with the guidance of a treating physician for free to livestock families in the first to third income deciles. A tangible action that brought the praise and gratitude of the special governor of Malair and was mentioned as a successful model of promoting social capital.

Gardeners complain about the constant challenge of market fluctuations

The horticulture and agriculture department of "Bablqani" village, which, like most areas of Malair, has an unbreakable link with grape production and raisin production, was another tense and controversial part of this gathering. The gardeners of the region complained about the constant challenge of market fluctuations, incommensurability of exorbitant costs, and harvesting at the purchase price of raisins, as well as the damaging infestation of the "hair chain" pest.

One of the most important demands of the residents of Babalqani village and neighboring areas such as Gomasa and Alijozan was the issue of drinking water instability, severe pressure drop in the upstream areas and depletion of storage tanks.

The head of water and sewage department of Malair city confirmed the lack of balance between the dimensions of the existing reservoirs and the population's needs by explaining the hydraulic difficulties caused by the topography and the difference in the height of the village.

Explaining the decrease in the level of underground water in the region, Rasool Roubakhsh noted that the permanent solution to this problem depends on accelerating the improvement of worn-out internal networks, participation of people in consumption management and entering the phase of placement of auxiliary wells.

Further, regarding the obvious leakage and damaged walls of some reservoirs in this rural area, technical measures were put on the agenda, including replacing them with standard prefabricated tanks with concrete floors and resistant metal walls, and it was decided to speed up the repair of the worn transmission lines with the direct cooperation of the village councils and the injection of balance credits and social responsibilities in order to prevent the wastage of water, the most vital capital of this scarce geography.

70 to 80 percent infrastructure of village roads

The head of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation of Malair city in the civil and physical development department called the prospect of physical development of Babalqani village very promising and said: With the infrastructure measures carried out in the past years, more than 70 to 80 percent of the roads in this village have been covered by infrastructure and asphalt projects in 2 implementation phases.

Ruhollah Bahrami added: The completion of the remaining parts requires new financial resources, which due to the limitations of national credits, the Housing Foundation has considered a local and efficient solution for it, and it has been decided that the village council and the village Islamic council, with the cooperation of the residents, will use the legal capacity to allocate 60% of the resources from the sale of the acquired lands within the village limits, in order to complete the asphalting of the remaining dirt roads in combination with the funds of the balance plan.

He asked the applicants to guarantee the strength of their buildings by taking advantage of cheap facilities of 350 and 500 million tomans with a long repayment period of 20 years and 5% interest.

The head of the Islamic Revolution Housing Foundation of Malair city stated: This facility provides a unique opportunity for young people to become homeowners and to restore worn-out structures by combining grants from the 100 account of the Imam (RA) up to several hundred million tomans.

People's complaints about the severe drop in the mobile signal and interruption of communication

Today, stable communication and high-speed internet is one of the foundations of the life and economy of villages, an issue that caused the residents' complaints in Babalqani due to the severe loss of the first mobile signal and interruption of communication during power outages.

The head of Malair Telecommunication Department then appeared in the public and explained the network situation and said: This area is covered by having six first mobile sites and one Irancell site, and last year an advanced site with a credit of more than 10 billion tomans was put into operation in this axis.

Vahid Gholami added: Due to the challenges of power imbalance in hot seasons and nationwide outages, the backup and backup batteries of the masts have suffered premature wear and tear, which takes the antennas out of the circuit as soon as the power goes out, and upgrading the batteries of the central site of Jozan Dehistan as the communication center of the region has become an urgent priority for telecommunications.
