Pourmohammadi: Promotion of Islamic Teachings Must Match Society's Current Needs

Marand – Hojatoleslam Mohammad Taqi Pourmohammadi, member of the Assembly of Experts and Friday prayer leader of Marand, emphasized the need to promote Islamic teachings through modern methods that match society's contemporary needs.

Marand- Hojjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Taqipourmohammadi, a member of the Council of Leadership Experts and Friday Imam of Marand, emphasized the necessity of promoting Islamic education with modern methods and appropriate to the needs of the society.

According to Mehr reporter, Hojjatul-Islam Mohammad Taqipourmohammadi, on Tuesday evening, during the opening ceremony of the second center of pure Islamic education in East Azerbaijan in Marand city, he considered the establishment of these centers as a step in the direction of explaining religious teachings and strengthening religious beliefs in the society.

He stated: In the current situation, it is necessary to explain and promote Islamic teachings and teachings with new methods and in accordance with the needs of the society for different classes.

The member of the Assembly of Leadership Experts added: The realization of this goal can help strengthen the belief and knowledge foundations of the society and be effective in reducing social problems.

Pointing to the establishment of pure Islamic education centers in East Azarbaijan cities, Pourmohammadi called this action an opportunity to increase religious awareness and strengthen religious beliefs, especially among young people.

He also emphasized the necessity of cooperation and accompaniment of responsible institutions and institutions in the field of culture and religion and expressed hope that the activities of these centers will be effective in strengthening religious beliefs and expanding religiosity in the society.

Explanation of religious teachings in simple language

Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Hasan Aslanjadi, Director General of Islamic Propaganda of East Azerbaijan, also emphasized the necessity of explaining religious teachings in a simple and understandable language for the general public, and described the Holy Quran as a guide to the life and happiness of people in this world and the hereafter.

Pointing out that humans prepare guides and instructions for the use of their products and creations, he said: God Almighty has also provided the Holy Quran to guide humans.

The Director General of Islamic Propaganda of East Azarbaijan, while explaining the objectives of the establishment of centers in the field of pure Islamic education, said: The Organization of Islamic Propaganda has put the creation of these centers on the agenda with the aim of clarifying religious teachings and instructions.

Aslannejadi added: The educational content of these centers has been compiled with the approach of answering questions and solving the mental ambiguities of different sections of the society, especially the youth and teenagers, and modern methods and techniques are also used in the teaching of topics.

He listed the generalization of religious science topics and providing people with more familiarity with Islamic teachings as one of the approaches of these centers.

The second center of pure Islamic education in East Azerbaijan in Marand city started working less than a month after the opening of the first center in Shabastar city.

This ceremony was held in the presence of Hojjatul-Islam Mohammad Taqipourmohammadi, member of the Assembly of Leadership Experts and Imam of Marand Friday, Hojjatul-Islam Seyyed Hasan Aslanjadi, Director General of Islamic Propaganda of East Azerbaijan, Hojjatul-Islam Hajizadeh, Deputy Director of Education of the General Directorate of Islamic Propaganda of the province, Hojjat-ul-Islam Portaqi, Head of Marand Islamic Propaganda Department and a group of officials and representatives of cultural and educational institutions.
