Fire Breaks Out at Lanj-Building Workshop in Pi Posht, Qeshm; One Lanj Burned, Two Rescued

Qeshm – The head of the Qeshm Fire Department reported that a fire at a lanj-building workshop in Pi Posht village has been brought under control, saying one lanj was completely burned in the incident.

Qeshm- The head of the Qeshm Fire Department announced that the fire was contained in a barge workshop in Pipasht village and said: In this incident, a barge was completely burnt.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Najmuddin Faridooni, referring to the fire in the barge-making workshop of Qeshm, he said: About 25 operational forces with the participation of Qeshm, Darghan, Laft, Zirang and Koshe firemen and the rescue forces of Behin Palash and Harai Qeshm industrial companies were present in the fire suppression operation.

He added: In order to prevent the fire from spreading, the operational forces moved two large barges near the burning vessel, and by cooling and separating the vessels, they prevented the fire from spreading and increasing the damage.
