European researchers gain access to Google's advanced AI

Google DeepMind and Google Cloud are providing direct access to their advanced AI models, along with $3 million in computing credits, to 200 European scientists.

Google DeepMind and Google Cloud (cloud computing service) provide direct access to their advanced artificial intelligence models along with three million dollars of computing credit for 200 European scientific researchers.

According to Ambassador Arjan, quoted by Reuters, this action provides researchers with direct access to Google's scientific tools, including Alphafold 3, WeatherNEXT, AlphaGenome, AlphaIolo, and AlphaEarth. These tools help researchers solve complex problems faster, from predicting extreme weather patterns to mapping the structure of molecules.

Google has also released its advanced artificial intelligence model named "Jemina 4 Argon" to developers and businesses around the world. The company is trying to strengthen its competitive position against OpenAI and Anthropic after several months of delays and changes in the leadership of DeepMind Lab.

According to the company, the new model is designed to perform complex and multi-step tasks, especially in the fields of coding, finance, legal, cyber security and scientific research.
