According to Mehr reporter, Abdurrahman Muradzadeh said in this ritual on Tuesday morning: One of the important measures is equipping local communities with individual protection equipment to prevent fire in natural areas, which has been done in Tangistan.

He added: In line with the strategy of crisis management and strengthening people's participation in the protection of natural resources, the General Department of Environmental Protection of Bushehr province, with the participation of the Tungistan Wildlife Helpers Association with the support of national funds, distributed individual protection equipment among active groups and local communities on the edge of forest areas and pastures.

Creating quick response capacities against incidents

The deputy natural environment of Bushehr province also said: This action is aimed at empowering local communities and creating quick response capacities against accidents, especially large fires in the natural areas of the province.

Gholamreza Faqih added: During this action, a set of specialized equipment, including standard backpacks, hiking shoes, protective helmets, firefighting tools, resistant gloves, water flasks, and breathing masks were provided to volunteer forces and environmental groups.

He continued: The ultimate goal of this distribution is to transition from traditional management to collaborative management. In such a way that local communities play a role not only as observers, but also as the first front line in fire prevention and extinguishing and biodiversity protection.
