Continuing Elite Development Essential to Strengthening Markazi Province's Scientific Standing
Arak – The representative of Arak, Komijan and Khondab in parliament said: Developing knowledge-based capacities, facilitating the attraction of elites, and linking their scientific capabilities with the industrial sector are among the requirements for enhancing this province's scientific and economic standing.
Arak - The representative of the people of Arak, Kamijan and Khandab in the parliament said: Developing knowledge-based capacities, facilitating the recruitment of elites and linking their scientific ability with the industry sector is one of the requirements for improving the scientific and economic status of this province.
According to the Mehr reporter, Nader Qoli Ebrahimi said at the ceremony of honoring the day of elites of the central province on Thursday afternoon: This province, having a brilliant background in cultivating scientists and scientific experts, has a significant capacity for the development of knowledge-based activities, but the use of these capabilities requires more coherent planning and double efforts in various fields.
Referring to the quota of recruiting 1,750 elites in the executive bodies, he added: This amount is not appropriate for the Central Province with the existing capacities, and a more effective presence of the elites in various economic sectors, especially the industries of the province, should be provided.
The representative of the people of Arak, Kamijan and Khandab in the Islamic Council continued: The role of elites should not be limited to employment in executive bodies, but their knowledge, expertise and innovative ideas should be used to increase productivity, improve production capacity and create added economic value.
Emphasizing the necessity of developing new business models, Ebrahimi said: Utilizing technological capacities and models such as factory-free production can create new opportunities for the elites' activities and provide the context for connecting more specialized knowledge with the real needs of industries and production units in Central Province.
Referring to the legal capacities for the development of science and technology, he said: The Law of the Seventh Development Plan and the Infrastructure Financing Law have provided suitable opportunities for the financing of scientific, technological and infrastructure projects, which should be used effectively with the follow-up of provincial officials and managers.
Ebrahimi stated: Despite the industrial and scientific capabilities of the Central Province, the number of knowledge-based companies and the rate of attracting elites are still not proportional to the capacities of the region, and to compensate for this gap, support for innovative activities and removing obstacles to the development of technology should be followed more seriously.
The representative of the people of Arak, Kamijan and Khandab in the Islamic Council stressed the need to pay attention to the livelihood and welfare issues of the elite community and added: the formation of a special working group headed by the relevant deputy in the province to follow up on issues related to financing, attracting elites and solving the problems of housing and livelihood of this group is emphasized.
He emphasized: coordination between the executive bodies, the industry sector and scientific and technological complexes can make the path of utilizing the elite's capacity smoother and lead to strengthening the position of the central province as the cradle of the country's elites and scientists.
