Al-Gharafa vs. Esteghlal; Bakhtiarizadeh's Side Aims for a Second Qatari Scalp

The Esteghlal football team will face Al-Gharafa tonight (Monday) at 21:45 in the second group-stage match of the AFC Champions League Elite at Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

Esteghlal football team will face Al Gharafa in the second match of the Asian Elite League group stage at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in Doha, Qatar, starting at 21:45 tonight (Monday).

Ambassador of Arjan-Sports Group: Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh's students had a great performance in their first match in the elite league and managed to defeat Al Sadd Qatar with its stars by 3-0. The match was held in Basra, Iraq, even though Esteghlal was the host.

Esteghlal, led by Bakhtiarizadeh, has had a good performance in the Premier League even though the transfer window is closed, even though they drew in the last game in Tabriz against the leader of the league, Tractor. However, Esteghlal's main performance was against Al Sadd, and perhaps even the most optimistic Esteghlal fan did not think that this team could beat the Qatari team with three goals with a good performance.

Expectations have risen with this victory of Independence, but there are a few points; Yaser Asani, the main star of the Blues, is injured and his presence in this game is in doubt. It remains to be seen what kind of performance Esteghlal will have without its Albanian star. Bakhtiarizadeh said in a conversation with Ambassador Arjan in response to Asani's absence in the game with Al-Gharafa: "Asani is an influential piece, but there are many players like him and he is not looking for excuses." Maybe this comment is a message from Bakhtiarizadeh to his players that the absence of a player should not be influential.

The schedule of today's matches and the time of the matches between Esteghlal and Tractor football teams in the Asian Elite League have been announced.

In the second week of the Asian Elite League, Esteghlal must play against Qatar's Gharafa. A match that, in addition to the importance of points, is a reminder of the previous confrontations between the two teams and the victory of the blue-collar trio in their first meeting in this competition. Esteghlal has not lost against the representative of Qatar so far, but it has not yet been able to win at this team's home.

Esteghlal has faced an unexpected obstacle in the travel plan to attend Qatar and hold a match against Al-Gharafa. The Blues' request for a direct flight to Doha was not accepted due to the restrictions imposed on Iranian flights, and now the club officials are considering an alternative route.
