Libya can once again become a reliable supplier of oil and gas
Ali Joma Hassan Fazel added: This requires modernizing facilities and creating a predictable contractual and legal environment for investors.
Moscow, October 14. /TASS/. Ali Juma Hassan Fazel, the country's ambassador to Iran, said in an interview with TASS: Libya is able to once again strengthen its role as a reliable supplier of oil and gas in the world markets.
He said: "Energy security is not only an economic category, but also a geopolitical category now. For Libya, this situation brings both opportunities and responsibilities. The country has significant resources and is adjacent to European markets. In a stable production and investment environment, Libya can strengthen its role as a reliable supplier of oil and gas."
However, this requires protecting energy infrastructure, ensuring sustainable production, modernizing facilities, and creating a more predictable contractual and legal environment for investors, the diplomat noted.
