Republican House Speaker: Iran War Will End After Elections / Resolution of This Conflict Will Enter a New Phase

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, in remarks on the US war of aggression against Iran, claimed: I believe this will end very soon, likely immediately after the elections.

Mike Johnson, the Republican Speaker of the US House of Representatives, in a statement referring to the aggressive war of the United States against Iran, claimed: I believe that this issue will end very soon, probably immediately after the election.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, in an interview with CBS News, Johnson said: I think we are very close to solving this issue.

According to Ambassador Arjan, he also claimed that Iran is monitoring the American election campaign and after the election, the resolution of this conflict will enter a new phase.

The Speaker of the US House of Representatives further pointed out that there are only 24 days left until the mid-term elections of the Congress (November 3rd/November 12th) and expressed doubt that it would be possible to resolve this conflict in this short period of time.

Earlier, in an interview with the NBC news channel, Johnson said in response to a question about whether he is confident that the aggressive war of the United States against Iran will end before the next presidential election in the United States: "Certainly our plan is to do so."

He added: Of course, I hope this will happen today or finally before the mid-term elections of the Congress on November 3rd (November 12th), but until then, there is little time left, so we have to be realistic.

The Speaker of the American House of Representatives continued by saying that we are facing a complicated situation now, and stated: To resolve this situation, we need an approach that mobilizes all facilities and capacities.

Johnson also claimed: President Donald Trump (USA) is right, as soon as the war ends and the oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz, costs will decrease.

He went on to say that the issue is not only fuel and the costs related to it, he noted: for example, food prices have also increased due to transportation costs in America.

Trump, who is struggling with the economic consequences of the war of attrition against Iran on the eve of the congressional mid-term elections on November 3rd, is trying to prevent his party (the Republican Party) from losing in this election.

Trump's approach to Iran has disappointed his supporters as well as some war-weary Republicans who are worried about the prolongation of the war and its consequences on fuel prices and mid-term elections.
