Governor of Isfahan's signature for the offending managers in the case of disabled people's rights

Isfahan-Isfahan Governor, referring to the lack of work of 23 executive bodies in implementing the law on the protection of the disabled, said: the bodies that have shirked their legal duties should wait for decisive action.

According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Jamalinejad, on the sidelines of the Isfahan Province Planning and Development Council meeting in the group of reporters, explained the most important axes and approvals of this strategic meeting and stated: The law on the protection of the rights of the disabled is one of the comprehensive, precise and binding laws of the country, which clearly lists the duties and missions of each of the executive bodies. This law is not responsible.

Pointing to the necessity of double sensitivity of the managers towards the implementation of this law, he clarified: the importance of protecting the rights of the disabled is such that the tasks of each department are explained with full transparency and are continuously monitored at different managerial and supervisory levels of the country; Moreover, during my tenure as the Civil Deputy of the Ministry of Interior, we also witnessed that even institutions with a very wide mission scope, such as the Ministry of Interior, were required to respond accurately and implement their legal obligations in this department.

The governor of Isfahan pointed to the detailed evaluation of the performance of the provincial administrations in the planning council meeting and added: In today's meeting, the performance and actions of the executive bodies in the field of implementing the law on the protection of the rights of the disabled were carefully monitored. The results showed that while a number of agencies have performed their duties well and have provided documented and transparent reports, unfortunately, about 22 to 23 executive agencies of the province have not sent any report of their actions and performance to the council secretariat.

Jamalinejad continued by setting a deadline for the mentioned devices and giving a serious warning against the inaction of the managers: it was decided that these devices should monitor their situation in the shortest possible time and submit their performance report within the legal deadline. If this issue is only caused by the delay in sending the documents, it should be completed within the announced time frame, but if the evaluations confirm the shortness, indifference and non-implementation of the legal duties, the provincial administration will take legal action against the offending institutions and managers without complacency and decisively.

In another part of his speech, he pointed to the challenges in the field of overdraft facilities and said: One of the important topics of this meeting was the assessment of the payment status of overdraft facilities and the level of adherence of the banking network and custodian institutions to the approved quotas. Due to the fact that statistical and procedural disagreements were observed in some areas, and in some cases, lack of work and delays in granting facilities to eligible applicants were observed, necessary decisions were taken to clarify this section.

The governor of Isfahan, while explaining the executive solution of the council to solve this challenge, mentioned: It was decided to form a specialized and special committee under the planning and development council of the province to speed up the process of fulfilling bank obligations by carefully examining disputed cases and accurate statistics of the reasons for non-payments, and the output of this committee's decisions will be followed up in the form of binding approvals of the council.

Jamalinejad also pointed to the monitoring of social developments and indicators of the province based on the latest statistics and noted: In this meeting, new statistical reports on the social issues of the province were analyzed and scrutinized. In the areas where the functioning of the devices did not match the expectations or the necessary preventive and supportive measures were not carried out, clear and binding notices were sent to the relevant managers so that the process of providing services with more speed and quality was put on the agenda.
