Kermanshah - Emphasizing the necessity of completing the Shoshmi border comprehensive plan, the assignment of customs infrastructures and the coordination of responsible institutions are necessary to improve trade exchanges.

In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Farzad Almasi, referring to the economic capacities of the Shushmi border, said that completing the infrastructure of this crossing is one of the requirements for organizing commercial exchanges and providing appropriate services to economic activists and border residents.

He stated that the effective use of border capacities requires the assignment of the Shushmi master plan, the creation of customs facilities and the increase of coordination between related executive bodies.

Pointing to the problems at this border, Governor Paveh added: lack of suitable space for storage and storage of goods, limitation of service facilities and delay in some administrative processes, economic activity and follow-up of border residents' affairs have been associated with difficulties.

Almasi stated: Completing the comprehensive plan of 16 hectares of the border and providing preparations for the establishment and coherent activity of customs can lead to better management of exchanges, facilitation of legal processes and improvement of service quality.

He stated that the change of regulations and import restrictions affects the benefit of border residents from commercial opportunities, and he noted that: decisions about restrictions or bans on the entry of goods should be made taking into account the economic consequences, market conditions and the possibility of replacing the required items, so that along with the implementation of regulations, the livelihood of border residents is also taken into consideration.

Governor Paveh also emphasized the need for executive bodies to respond transparently to citizens' daily inquiries and said: Facilitating legal processes and respecting people's dignity in providing services should be the priority of responsible bodies.

Appreciating the efforts of the Kermanshah governor and the representative of the people of the region in the Islamic Council, Almasi requested the support of the national officials to speed up the assignment and implementation of the Shushmi border comprehensive plan.

In the end, he considered it necessary to examine alternative solutions for the continuation of economic activities in the conditions of commercial restrictions and added: more effective use of the capacity of border crossing cards within the framework of rules and regulations can be placed on the agenda of the responsible institutions and help to reduce problems and strengthen the role of Shushmi border in the economy of the region.
