Aghamiri: Nobody Wants Internet Cuts, but There Is No Choice
Secretary of the Supreme Council and National Cyberspace Center: Thanks to our National Information Network, no POS terminals will go out of service, unlike France, where all devices were disabled during an internet outage.
The secretary of the Supreme Council and the National Center for Cyberspace said: "Since we have a national information network, no POS device will fail, unlike in France, where all devices were disconnected during the internet outage."
According to Ambassador Arjan Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace, said: "Last year, the Internet was interrupted only once in January, the rest were restrictions."
Emphasizing that the governance of cyber space is not only limited to cutting the Internet, he said: "How many times has the Internet been cut in the last 15 years?"
Aghamiri also said: "No one likes the Internet to be cut off, just as no one prefers that flights be closed during the war, but there is no other choice."
