Three Illegal Wells Sealed in Miyaneh

According to Mehr reporter, Tawakal Mehdikhani told reporters on Wednesday morning: 3 wells were identified and blocked by the judicial order, with the cooperation of law enforcement agents and the efforts of the patrol team and the control of the Central Water Resources Department.

In order to prevent reopening of one of the wells, which was located in a closed area, its filling operation was carried out using concrete materials.

He added: Blocking of unauthorized wells is done within the framework of Article 45 of the Law on Fair Water Distribution and in line with the implementation of the plan to restore and balance underground water resources.

Preventing unauthorized withdrawals, controlling the pressure on underground water tables and protecting limited water resources are the main goals of these measures, and the pursuit of identifying and dealing with illegal wells in the city of Mianeh will continue.
