Kazemi: Bijar Startup Event to Focus on Solving County Problems

Bijar – The governor of Bijar announced a startup event, saying: This major event will be held with a focus on solving the county's problems.

According to Mehr reporter, Kazem Kazemi, on Tuesday morning, in the coordination meeting of Bijar startup event, which was held in the presence of the head of Science and Technology Park of Kurdistan province, the president of Payam Noor University, a group of officials of the executive bodies, presidents of city universities and managers of technological companies, said: Bijar startup event will be held on November 18th, 19th and 20th with the aim of identifying creative talents, supporting innovative ideas and strengthening entrepreneurship fields.

He added: This event is an opportunity to identify the capabilities of young people, form innovative teams and create effective communication between universities, executive bodies, technology companies and private sector activists, and its capacity should be used to provide practical solutions in the development of the city.

Referring to the planned axes for this event, Governor Bijar said: tourism, agriculture, industry, education, health and health, urban management and sports are among the areas where, by identifying the needs and capacities in them, it is possible to provide a basis for presenting creative and technology-based ideas.

Kazemi continued: The main approach should be to direct ideas towards the real problems of the city so that idea owners and technological companies can play a role in solving problems and improving executive and production processes by providing operational solutions.

Referring to the reception of last year's startup event in Bijar, he considered it necessary to support creative youth and start-up business owners and said: Continuous holding of such events can help to strengthen entrepreneurial skills, identify new talents and provide the basis for the formation of knowledge and technology-based businesses.

Emphasizing the role of Science and Technology Park of Kurdistan Province in supporting innovative ideas, Governor Bijar added: Providing expert advice, supporting talented teams, and providing the basis for the growth and commercialization of projects are capacities that should be used to transform superior ideas into viable products and businesses.

Kazemi also emphasized the necessity of the participation of executive bodies, universities, the private sector and the media in holding this event and said: identifying and prioritizing the needs of executive bodies, industrial units and the agricultural sector should be on the agenda so that the activities of innovative teams are guided in line with the real needs of the city.

He pointed out that coordination between the participating groups, appropriate information, attracting creative ideas and supporting selected projects are requirements for the successful holding of this event, and it is expected that with the cooperation of various departments, the effective presence of young people and idea owners will be provided in this program.

In the end, the governor of Bijar emphasized: the startup event should be a ground for linking knowledge, technology and entrepreneurship with the needs of the city, and its output can be effective in economic development, strengthening of start-up businesses and better use of local capacities of Bijar.
