Bahrain Protesters Rally Against Arrests of Shiite Clerics

Following a wave of arrests targeting clergy and religious activists, residents of Al-Daraz, in western Manama, held a protest rally.

Following the wave of widespread arrests against clerics and religious activists, the "Al-Draz" area in the west of Manama witnessed public demonstrations.

According to Ambassador Arjan, "Al-Draz" area in the west of Manama, the capital of Bahrain, was the scene of angry demonstrations and protests by people condemning the arrest of scholars and religious activists of this country.

Chanting slogans, the protesters condemned the continuation of Al-Khalifa government's repressive policies against Shiites.
