Moghtadaei: Trump Has Accepted Defeat to Iran

Abbas Moghtadaei, Deputy Chair of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump has accepted defeat against Iran, citing his recent remarks, but is trying to conceal it. He stressed that Tehran will insist on its conditions until Iran's victory is consolidated.

Abbas Moqtadaei, the vice-chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament, referring to the recent positions of Donald Trump, claimed that the American president has accepted the defeat against Iran, but he is trying to hide it. He emphasized that Tehran will insist on its conditions until Iran's victory is confirmed.

Ambassador of Arjan-Political Group: Abbas Moqtadaei, Vice Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Council, in response to Donald Trump's statement that the US will not attack Iran before the mid-term elections, said: Iranians know the nature of US behavior and whether this country attacks or refrains from attacking, they consider its approach hostile.

He added: America's refraining from attacking could be due to fear or the damage it suffered in the confrontation with Iran. On the other hand, military action also stems from the idea that Washington has the ability to harm Iran.

Referring to the recent positions of the American president, Moqtadai clarified: Trump is in a position where he is trying to hide his failure with various statements. Iranians have also shown that they are neither afraid nor leaving the field in the face of threats.

Referring to the place of martyrdom in the culture and beliefs of Iranians, he said: Resistance is for the preservation of Iran, Iranians and the Islamic Ummah. A collection whose religious, national and cultural roots are connected with this land.

The Vice Chairman of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee stated that he considers Trump's recent statements as a sign of accepting defeat against Iran and said: I believe that the American President has come to the conclusion that he cannot win against Iran, but he is trying to hide this fact in his positions.

He also warned about the American threats and the statements made about the possibility of using nuclear weapons and said: moving towards the use of such weapons could have consequences that lead to the destruction of America and the fall of this country's international status.

Moqtadaei considered the threat of damages to countries that do not support America, including some European countries, to receive damages as a sign of Washington's situation and emphasized that despite having various capabilities, Iran uses all its capacities in a phased manner based on defense calculations and war rationality.

In another part of his speech about Iran's conditions in connection with the seven-day plan, Moqtadaei said: America and Iran are different today than they were a year ago, and recent experiences and achievements have changed Iran's position.

He added: Countries that have resilience and the ability to deal with external pressures can gradually strengthen their capacities. According to him, Iran has been able to maintain its resistance and national cohesion and demonstrate the country's stability in the face of America, the Zionist regime and their allies.

Referring to Iran's political, social, cultural, and religious capacities, the vice-chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament said: The set of these capacities distinguishes Iran from some other countries that have confronted America.

He also considered the role of the Islamic Revolution and leadership to be effective in strengthening the country's capabilities and claimed that America has faced isolation in the world public opinion and Iran enjoys more support at the international level.

In the end, Moqtadaei emphasized the necessity of Iran's adherence to its conditions and stated: If America accepts Iran's conditions, the realities of the scene will be revealed and this acceptance will also show Iran's position and strength.

He pointed out: Iran will stand by its terms until the victory is established.
