Minister of Guidance's message to the Puppet Festival; "Mubarak" is a symbol of hope

The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance sent a message to the 21st Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival.

According to Ambassador Arjan, citing the public relations of the festival, Seyyed Abbas Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, sent a message to the 21st Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival.

The text of the message of the Minister of Culture reads:

Under the pretext of the 21st Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival, the puppets come to life once again so that we can watch the long-lasting, rooted and imaginative art of Iranian puppet show; An art that can speak about human beings, life and hope in the days of the heavy shadow of war and violence on the world; An era in which sometimes the civilizations, cultures and art of nations are not spared from the sting of war.

This year, we feel the emptiness of many children of this land beside us; Among the innocent students of Minab, whose memory has left a deep sadness in our hearts.

They are not there to participate in the celebration of life and art, but their memory makes our responsibility to protect the life, peace and future of children heavier.

"Mubarak" is not the only name of this festival; It is a symbol of hope, stability and human ability to overcome difficulties.

"Mubarak", along with puppet show artists, is once again a narrator of Iranian identity and culture and a reminder of the fact that Iran, the land of art and culture, stands firm in guarding its heritage and territorial integrity.

Puppet show, with its simple language and imaginary world, can build a bridge between generations, cultures and nations and teach children that even in the darkest times, you can smile at life and hope for tomorrow.

Protecting this art is not denying imagination, conversation and children's right to enjoy a safe and kind world.

I respect the efforts of the artists, organizers and all those involved in this cultural event and I hope that the 21st Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival will provide an opportunity for the creativity of artists to flourish, to expand friendship between nations, and to strengthen the connection between art and life.

May Mubarak, this long-lasting messenger of joy and wisdom, keep the light of hope burning in the hearts of children and adults even in times of difficulty."

The 21st Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Festival will be held in Tehran from 25th to 30th of Mehr under the directorship of Popek Azimpour Tabrizi.
