Showers, Lightning and Strong Winds in Bushehr Province

Bushehr – Bushehr's meteorology expert says scattered showers, lightning and sudden strong winds are possible in the eastern areas and highlands of the province until early night.

Bushehr- Meteorological expert of Bushehr announced the possibility of scattered rain, thunder and sudden strong wind in the eastern areas and highlands of the province until early night.

Hossein Shakohi said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: According to meteorological maps, until Friday, local fog, increase in cloudiness and wind blowing in some hours in the afternoon will be expected phenomena in the province.

The expert of the General Department of Meteorology of Bushehr province added: Also, today (Tuesday) with the growth of clouds in some parts of the province (especially the eastern areas and the highlands of the province), the occurrence of temporary weather instability in the form of scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by scattered showers, thunder, momentary gusts, dust and hail is expected in prone areas.

He said: the sky of Bushehr province will be partly cloudy to partly cloudy with local dust, wind will blow during the hours, in some areas (especially in the eastern regions and the highlands) there will be cloud growth from noon to early night, scattered rain sometimes accompanied by scattered showers, thunderstorms, momentary gusts, the possibility of dust and tomorrow in some parts of the morning fog.

The expert of the General Department of Meteorology of Bushehr province continued: Wind blowing is usually southwest-southeast with a speed of 8 to 30 sometimes up to 38 km per hour, during the occurrence of atmospheric instabilities more than 44 km per hour is predicted.

He mentioned: The sea wave height is 30 to 90 cm, sometimes 120 cm, in the hours from afternoon to early night, it will be 90 to 150 cm on some coasts of the province.
