The Russian domestic market will not suffer from the increase in diesel exports - Novak

The Deputy Prime Minister said that the resources will be sufficient to complete all seasonal agricultural works

Moscow, October 12. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said in an interview with the Vesti news program: "The Russian domestic market will not suffer from the increase in diesel fuel exports, and the reserves will be sufficient to complete all seasonal agricultural work."

Novak said: "As for the domestic market, it is a priority for us and it is fully supplied with diesel fuel, as the capacity of our oil refineries has significantly exceeded production. Today, agricultural operations, including harvesting and planting, as well as the "Northern Delivery" plan, and the entire domestic market are fully covered.

He noted that Russia has the capacity to supply more to global markets, including America. "This will help balance the situation, which is currently very complicated due to the problems in the Strait of Hormuz and the overall reduction in global refining capacity caused by disruptions in infrastructure and logistics," the deputy prime minister explained.
