Saeedi: Defending the oppressed and confronting oppressors is a lasting lesson of the Zainabi school

Qom - Imam Juma of Qom emphasized the necessity of imitating the life of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and said: "Defending oppressed nations, standing up against oppressors and confronting global arrogance are among the most important lessons of Zainabi's school."

According to Mehr reporter, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi in his Friday prayer sermons this week in Qom, referring to the place of piety in man's achievement of happiness and salvation, stated: In verse 35 of Surah Ma'idah, God Almighty invites believers to piety, to seek a means of getting close to God, and to struggle in the path of God, and this Quranic teaching shows that achieving prosperity and salvation requires adherence to divine values and continuous effort in the path of satisfaction. is the Lord

Congratulating the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab Kabri (PBUH) and Nurse's Day, Imam Juma of Qom added: This occasion is a valuable opportunity to reread the life of a lady who displayed insight, knowledge of time and situation, patience, resistance and self-sacrifice in her best manifestations, and by consciously being present at one of the most sensitive periods in the history of Islam, she undertook a great mission in guarding the truth.

Appreciating the efforts of the nursing community, he said: nurses have a serious responsibility in the field of health and service to the people, and their sincere efforts, especially nurses who have reached the status of martyrdom in the course of performing their duties, is a manifestation of the connection of knowledge, responsibility, sacrifice and selflessness.

Stating that religious occasions should be a basis for strengthening beliefs and reforming individual and social behaviors, Saeedi said: rereading the lives of religious leaders is not limited to expressing their virtues, but the lives of these personalities should be used to strengthen religious and revolutionary culture, increase social responsibility, and awaken the society against threats and deviations.

The family is the first center of education for the generation of believers

Referring to the social conditions during the birth of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh), he said: At a time when some people felt ashamed of the birth of a girl and the Holy Quran condemned this ignorant attitude, the family of Amirul Momineen (pbuh) provided an environment rich in knowledge and Islamic upbringing for the upbringing of this great lady.

Citing verse 58 of Surah Al-Nahl about the wrong attitude of ignorance towards girls, the Imam of Qom added: Families should value their children, especially girls, and by paying attention to their correct education, provide the basis for their personal and spiritual growth and not allow neglecting educational needs to make them susceptible to deviant trends.

Emphasizing the role of the family in the formation of children's personality, Saeedi said: "The home is the first environment for human education and training, and parents should not leave the responsibility of their children's intellectual, moral and religious upbringing to the school and society alone, but rather, from the first years of life, they should turn the family environment into a platform for teaching religious values and strengthening the ability to discern and make the right choice."

Referring to the role of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in the transmission of Islamic knowledge, he said: she was the narrator of the enlightening sermon of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) in the mosque of Medina, and this shows that raising children with knowledge, the ability to express and the ability to correctly convey the facts is of particular importance.

Imam Juma of Qom added: Families should introduce their children to the teachings of pure Islam, the history of the Islamic Revolution, and the realities of the country, so that they can take a position with knowledge and awareness against the propaganda and propaganda of the enemy, and not be influenced by distorted narratives about Islam, the revolution, and the authorities.

Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) chose the mission of Karbala

Referring to the deep connection of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) with the movement of Imam Hussain (pbuh), Saeedi said: According to some historical reports, when she married Abdullah bin Jafar, she made a condition that she would not be separated from Imam Hussain (pbuh), and this companionship can be considered in the framework of a responsibility beyond family and emotional ties, that is, playing a role in the historical mission of the Karbala event.

He continued: Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) took the heavy responsibility of conveying the message of Imam Hussain's (AS) uprising during the Ashura movement and the events after it, and in a situation where the enemy was seeking to distort the facts and make the truth look upside down, with her clarity and firm expression, she did not allow the goals of the Ashura uprising to be hidden among the propaganda of the Umayyad government.

Referring to the presence of people on the stage and serving each other, the Imam of Qom Friday said: Today, the responsibility of protecting the values of the Karbala movement rests with the Islamic society, and the presence of people in the square and their efforts to help their fellow human beings is a manifestation of social responsibility and a sense of commitment to society.

Saidi added: Iranian people have shown at different times that they are not indifferent to the fate of their society, and their presence on the scene and the services they provide to each other in difficult situations can play a role in the continuation of the spirit of self-sacrifice and social solidarity.

Emphasizing the necessity of recognizing individual and social responsibilities, he said: following the example of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) should be reflected in daily behavior, the way of raising children, defending the truth and standing up against oppression, and the society should apply these teachings in its personal and social life with a correct understanding of the way of the Ahlul Bayt (PBUH).

Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) changed the enemy's narrative about Ashura

Referring to the standing of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) against the Umayyad ruling system, Imam Juma of Qom said: In Karbala and during the captivity, despite enduring physical and mental pressures and facing the insults and audacity of the enemy, with his firm logic and enlightening words, he challenged the distorted narrative of the government of the time about the Ashura event.

He added: When Ubaidullah bin Ziyad sought to make the Karbala incident appear to be a defeat of Ahl al-Bayt (a), Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) with a decisive answer, went beyond the material and outward criteria of victory and defeat and showed with the lasting phrase "We vote only beautifully" that the crimes of the enemy cannot distort the truth and greatness of the divine path of Imam Hussein (pbuh).

Referring to the encounter of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) with Yazid in his Majlis, Saeedi said: She openly defended the dignity of the Ahl al-Bayt (pbuh) against the behavior of the Umayyad government towards the family of the Prophet (pbuh) and challenged the dual behavior of the rulers, on the one hand, they kept their families safe and on the other hand, they kept the Prophet's (pbuh) daughters in captivity in the cities and attended meetings.

He stated that one of the most important lessons of the life of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) is to maintain discernment and steadfastness in difficult situations, and added: Families and officials must raise a generation that, in the face of the enemy's propaganda war and psychological operations, can distinguish truth from distortion and not falter in the face of pressure by relying on religious beliefs and correct knowledge of history.

Imam Juma of Qom stated: Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) knowingly being present in the field of enlightenment, did not allow the enemy to change the position of right and wrong by using his political and propaganda power, and this practice doubles the responsibility of the Islamic society in defending the truth and confronting distortion.

Officials should have a strong stance against oppression

Referring to the teachings of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.) about confronting oppressors and supporting the oppressed, Saeedi said: following the path of her honorable father, Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) stood up against the oppressors with courage and logic and defended the oppressed.

Emphasizing the necessity of safeguarding the authority of the country, he said: the officials should follow the example of Amir al-Mu'minin (a.s.) and Hazrat Zainab (s.a.), speak from a position of strength and dignity in front of enemies and renegades and spare no effort in serving the people and defending the interests of the country.

Imam Juma Qom added: The Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on the faithful, selfless and selfless people and having powerful armed forces, has important capacities to defend the country and deal with threats, and the officials should use these capacities in the way of serving the people and protecting the security and independence of the country.

Referring to the current situation and the need to maintain the spirit of anti-arrogance, Saeedi stated: Just as Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Martyr Leader of the Revolution emphasized on standing against the domineering powers, the Islamic society must also act with authority against the excesses of enemies and criminals by maintaining insight and trusting in internal capacities.

Emphasizing the necessity of supporting the oppressed nations of the region, he said: based on the life of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh), supporting the resistance forces and the oppressed people of Lebanon and Hezbollah, the resistant people of Palestine and Gaza, and the people of Yemen should be taken into consideration and the Islamic society should fulfill its responsibility in defending the oppressed against oppression and aggression.

Chastity and hijab are values emphasized by Zainabi's life

Referring to the position of Hazrat Zainab (pbuh) in the field of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, he said: that great lady of Islam, besides her historical role in explaining the truth of Ashura, was an outstanding example in guarding chastity, hijab and moral values, and even during the captivity, she insisted on preserving the dignity and sanctity of the Prophet's (pbuh) family.

Saidi added: When chastity, hijab, and modesty are attacked, the issue is not limited to an individual behavior, but the religious and moral values of the society are also affected, and for this reason, families and officials should feel responsible for protecting these values.

Referring to what he called the restrictions imposed on veiled girls in the Republic of Azerbaijan, he said: Treating girls because of observing the hijab and depriving them of education is an example of behavior that reminds people of the need to pay attention to religious and social rights.

Imam Juma of Qom emphasized: The authorities and families should have a proper understanding of Islamic values and with a responsible approach, they should not allow the aggressive currents to enter the moral beliefs and foundations of the family and provide the ground for weakening chastity and hijab in social and administrative environments.

At the end, Saeedi congratulated the success of the Iranian national wrestling team in the special diplomatic conditions of the country and near the hotel belonging to Donald Trump, considered this event a symbol of the international presence and arrogance of the country's sports heroes and wished them success.
