Delegating investment powers and removing implementation obstacles

Referring to the delegation of authority in the field of investment, he added: as much authority as possible has been delegated to the provinces, but in some cases, despite the availability of legal capacity, the executive and systemic processes still cause delays, and action must be taken to remove these obstacles.

Emphasizing the necessity of implementing laws for the protection of historical structures, Shalbafian clarified: the law for the protection of historical structures is clear in this regard, but its implementation is different in different cities; In cases where the law is clear, the provincial bodies should provide the basis for its implementation, and in cases with a legal gap, the ministry is ready to pursue the amendment of the regulations.

Supporting the renovation of hotels with facilities and profit subsidies

The head of the Investment Center of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, referring to the problems of financing tourism projects, said: "Special deposit certificate can be one of the tools of financing projects." It is also possible to support the renovation of existing hotels and tourism facilities from this place, and the province can also participate in the implementation of these plans by allocating the facility profit subsidy.

He stated that Yazd was one of the leading provinces in signing the memorandum of understanding on the payment of subsidy for facilities, and added: The reconstruction of tourism facilities in suitable urban areas can help to maintain existing capacities and improve tourism services, and we hope that this issue will be pursued with the cooperation of the governorate and related institutions.

Expediting inquiries; The main demand of investors

Emphasizing the necessity of speeding up responses to inquiries and providing the infrastructure needed by investors, Shalbafian noted that the prolongation of the inquiry process is one of the most important problems for investors, and the cooperation of provincial institutions is necessary to remove these obstacles.

Financing handicrafts and tourism promotion projects

Referring to the financing capacities of handicrafts, he also said: Handicrafts activists can use various facilities according to their needs, and financing the purchase of equipment needed by this sector is also on the agenda.

In the end, the head of the Investment Center of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage pointed to the need to strengthen the cooperation of banks to finance tourism projects and said: It is expected that the provincial managers of the banks will cooperate more to attract the resources of the National Development Fund and support tourism promotion projects, just as they have performed effectively in the payment of job creation facilities.

He also emphasized on the issue of foreign flights to Yazd that the Ministry of Cultural Heritage will play its part in pursuing this issue.
