Member of Parliament's Industry Commission: Saipa Should Be Privatized Only After Structural Reform and Determination of Its True Value

Referring to the necessity of Saipa's real valuation, Renjbarzadeh stated: The transfer of this complex should be done based on economic realities, its production capacities and assets in order to avoid the transfer at a price lower than the real value.

He added: A part of Saipa's shares belong to the employees, various companies and the government; Therefore, the assignment process should be done in such a way that there is no ambiguity in the future about the price and how to assess the value of this collection.

The necessity of distancing from command pricing

Emphasizing the necessity of reforming car pricing, a member of the Parliament's Industries and Mines Commission said: One of the ways to increase Saipa's value is to move away from mandated pricing and provide the possibility of supplying products based on the actual production price. However, the current conditions of the country may limit the implementation of this policy.

Referring to the debts, the accumulated obligations and the problems of providing parts, he stated: Saipa should be removed from the current situation, its structure should be reformed and the conditions of production and activity of this complex should be improved.

Suspension of assignment until obligations are updated

Ranjbarzadeh emphasized the necessity of setting a deadline to correct Saipa's conditions and stated: until the delivery of the cars is updated and the backlog of obligations is not compensated, the handover should not be done.

He added: If a period of three to six months is considered for correcting the conditions, updating the obligations and supplying the car based on the cost price, the value of this company can be increased.

Car supply without incurring losses to Saipa

This member of the Parliament's Industries and Mines Commission also said about the role of the consumer and producer support organization: Requests for price increases should be carefully examined so that the possibility of supplying cars based on the actual production price is provided and Saipa does not have to sell its products at a loss.

According to him, correcting the pricing and updating the company's commitments can increase the value of Saipa's shares and add several hemats to the value of this collection.

Emphasis on maintaining the true value of Saipa

Ranjbarzadeh further pointed to Saipa's capacities in the field of equipment, facilities and infrastructures and emphasized: this complex is considered part of the capital and assets of the country and the formation of an unrealistic image of its value and capacities should be prevented.

He also pointed out that the government and Saipa have suffered losses in the current situation and this issue should be taken into consideration in the decisions related to the restructuring and handing over of this company.
