Shiraz Ring Road Projects Near Completion / Qalat-Kudian Route to Become an Expressway

The representative of Shiraz and Zarqan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said the second southern ring road in Shiraz is being pursued, the Qalat-Kudian route is being upgraded to an expressway, and an investor is being selected to build about 10 km of expressway along the Tang-e Khayareh and Lapooyi route. He said public-private partnership and securing funding through legal channels are on the agenda for these projects.

The representative of the people of Shiraz and Zarghan in the Islamic Council announced the implementation of the second ring road in the south of Shiraz, the conversion of the axis of Qalat to Kodian into a highway, and the selection of an investor to build about 10 kilometers of highway on the road between Tang Khayare and Lepoui, and said: to implement these projects, the use of the capacity of private and public sector participation and funding from legal channels are on the agenda.
