Tabriz- The Deputy Director of Training and Education of the General Staff of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, emphasizing the ability of women in various social and managerial fields, said: Women are successful in any responsibility they take on.
According to Mehr reporter, Sardar Seyyed Youssef Moulayi, on Wednesday morning, at the opening ceremony of the Payor Sisters Cultural and Sports Festival of IRGC in Tabriz, referring to the position of women in the society, stated that despite the cultural attacks of the enemies, women have demonstrated their abilities in various fields and today they play an effective role in advancing the affairs of the society.
Emphasizing the necessity of providing women's participation in sports activities, he added: As the flag bearer of the revolution, the IRGC should provide the necessary platform for the flourishing of women's talents, especially in the field of sports. Examining the situation of women before and after the Islamic Revolution also shows that they have made significant achievements in various fields, including sports.
Pointing to the difference between the Islamic Revolution and the western culture, the vice president of training and education of the General Staff of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said: while the western view of women has been a tool and a commodity, veiled women with modesty and chastity have appeared in various fields and have shown that the hijab is not an obstacle to their social activities and fulfilling their responsibilities.
Recalling the role of women during the eight years of Holy Defense, Moulay noted that, in addition to fulfilling family responsibilities and raising children, women made an important contribution to the defense of the country by sending their wives and children to the fronts and participating in relief and support fields.
He considered the holding of the Payor IRGC sisters' cultural and sports festival to be an effective measure in promoting sports culture and shaping the desired discourse of the Islamic Revolution and said: holding such events should provide the opportunity for a wider participation of women in sports activities.
The Vice-President of Training and Education of the General Staff of the Revolutionary Guards emphasized the connection between public sports and championships, stating: without creating proper infrastructures and platforms for sports, it is not possible to achieve championships, and the absence of champion athletes can also affect the general motivation to participate in sports activities.
Moulai also pointed to the capacity of women's sports festivals to introduce the achievements of the Islamic Revolution at the international level and stated: These events can be a platform for transmitting and explaining the discourse of the Islamic Revolution in the world arena.
He mentioned strengthening self-belief and self-confidence, increasing vitality and morale, enhancing the ability of women to play an effective role in society, and strengthening the power of reasoning and thinking as the goals of holding the Payor IRGC sisters' cultural and sports festival.
