100-Hemmat Damage to Knowledge-Based Companies in 40-Day War

The deputy head of the Parliament's Budget Reconciliation Commission for the 1405 budget said that an allocation of a special, urgent and independent 50,000-billion-toman credit line by the Central Bank must be treated as an urgent priority in the post-war economic recovery plan.

According to Ambassador Arjan, one of the important priorities in the post-war period is the rapid reconstruction of the production capacities of the damaged knowledge-based companies, especially the companies that operate in the field of advanced technologies and the production of strategic products.

In addition to investing in the development of local technologies, these companies play an important role in providing the key needs of the country and reducing dependence on imports. Damage to the infrastructure and production lines of these complexes can disrupt the supply chain of vital products and hinder the country's process of achieving technological self-sufficiency; Therefore, the quick return of these capacities to the production cycle should be prioritized by the government's and banking system's support policies.

In this regard, Nader Qoli Ebrahimi, the vice-chairman of the 1405 Budget Consolidation Commission of the Islamic Council, in a conversation with Ambassador Arjan, pointed out the importance of paying special attention to the reconstruction of knowledge-based companies. It is a reasonable expectation that the central bank will provide separate credit to support these knowledge bases.

Ebrahimi said: Some hi-tech knowledge bases provide services to military and security issues, and accordingly, supporting them in the current situation should be a priority.

He continued: Many of the measures we were able to take in the military field in the imposed war were due to the achievements of high-tech knowledge-based companies. We are not beating the war drum and we are defending ourselves, but the achievements of these hi-tech knowledge-based companies were helpful in this regard.

Ebrahimi pointed out: supporting these companies should not be limited to slogans. The required credit should be injected in a phased manner with careful monitoring so that the resources reach the truly affected companies. Maintaining expert human capital, preventing production lines from stopping and strengthening the ability to innovate are among the necessities that the central bank must include in its support program.

He said: The allocation of a special, immediate and independent credit line of 50 thousand billion tomans by the Central Bank should be considered as an urgent necessity in the post-war economic reconstruction program. The coordination of the central bank with the government and the Innovation and Prosperity Fund can also increase the effectiveness of this support and prevent parallel work in financing.
