Sajjadrud Dam in Babol Breaks Ground

Construction of the Sajjadrud reservoir dam was launched on Wednesday in Babol County with the attendance of the Deputy Minister of Energy and a number of national and provincial officials. The project aims to regulate surface water flows, supply part of the drinking and industrial water for Mazandaran, and improve agricultural water supply in the region. Officials emphasized addressing local residents' demands and environmental considerations alongside efforts to secure the required funding.

The executive operation of the Sajjarod Reservoir Dam with the aim of regulating the surface flows, providing a part of the drinking water and industry of Mazandaran and improving the agricultural water supply of the region, was started on Wednesday with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Energy and a group of national and provincial officials in Babol city and with an emphasis on paying attention to the demands of the local people and environmental considerations along with efforts to secure the required credit.
