According to Ambassador Arjan, in a joint statement, the United States, England and 27 of their allies reiterated London's accusations about the possibility of Iran being involved in a plan to attack the Farford military base, which is managed by the United States.
The foreign ministers of these 29 countries have accused Iran of what they called "threats, silencing, intimidation, harassment and harm" to people in their countries.
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham claimed in a speech in the House of Commons on Monday that based on the assessment of the country's government, the Farford base incident was most likely coordinated in Iran and was under the guidance of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He did not provide public documentation to prove this claim.
The British Prime Minister also announced that London will not tolerate the alleged security threats on its soil and will use its legal powers to deal with the networks that claim to be connected to Iran.
Burnham also announced the British government's plan to impose more sanctions against Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
At the same time, the British Foreign Ministry added the names of two Iranians, Rohollah Bazqandi and Shahram Alireza Tamerzadeh, to its list of sanctions. According to London's announcement, these two people have been subjected to financial and travel restrictions due to security charges.
