Persepolis requests deadline until end of Mehr / Financial ultimatum for Esteghlal and Tractor!
The Football Federation has set the final deadline for submitting financial documents for Esteghlal, Tractor, and Aluminium Arak as the first week of Aban, and announced that this opportunity will not be extended again.
According to "Varzesh Se", the club licensing management of the Football Federation announced the latest status of presenting the audited financial statements of the clubs by publishing notice number two. According to this notice, Esteghlal Tehran, Tractor and Arak Aluminum, which requested an extension of the deadline, have until the first week of November to send their documents. The federation has emphasized that this opportunity has been taken to complete the documents and it will not be possible to renew it.
In the meantime, Persepolis along with Esteghlal Khuzestan, Sanat Naft Abadan, Khyber Khorramabad and Fajar Sepasi sent a letter asking for a deadline until the end of October to submit audited financial statements. Therefore, the notification about these five clubs talks about the request for a deadline, while the final opportunity of the three Esteghlal, Tractor and Aluminum clubs is specified.
Until the announcement, 9 Khuzestan Steel Clubs, Sepahan, Pikan, Golgehar Sirjan, Nasaji Mazandaran, Melvan Bandar Anzali, Zob Ahn Isfahan, Shams Azer Qazvin and Chadormello Ardakan have sent their audited financial statements to the licensing management.
Mes Shahr Babak has also received a preliminary warning for not taking action within the deadline. The name of this club is placed next to the teams that still have to provide the documents they need.
In this announcement, the federation mentioned the correspondence made on 27th of August 1405 and considered the submission of audited financial statements and the comparative report of the budget forecast with the club's annual financial statements as essential documents of the license evaluation process.
The importance of these documents is related to the financial requirements of licensing. According to the regulations of the Asian Football Confederation, the annual financial statements must be audited by an independent auditor and include the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, explanatory notes and management's financial review. These documents are the basis for checking the financial status of the club in the licensing process.
In the section, the responsibility of the legal entity applying for the license is emphasized. The applicant must be a club that is fully responsible for the team present in national and international competitions. Also, if the men's and women's soccer teams are under the same legal entity or in the same reporting area, at least one separate income statement must be provided for each team to show their income and expenses.
Licensing management announced that the received documents will be reviewed and evaluated by financial experts, and the delay in providing them will make the timely implementation of the licensing process difficult. The federation has placed the responsibility of the delay and its consequences in the evaluation process on the respective club.
