Fatemeh Rakei Calls for an Independent Channel for Direct Communication Between the President and the People

Fateme Rakei, in the field of cultural, social and political solutions to promote national resilience and increase the satisfaction of the society, stated: the understanding and noble people of Iran have with political wisdom and despite the fact that they have been under livelihood pressures for a long time and now the pressures have reached their peak, they have practically turned to patience and tolerance. People have practiced the necessary resilience in these years and now they have this ability.

Referring to the people's trust in the president, the former member of parliament continued: the people consider the president to be their own; Because it is chosen by the majority of the people. Many people voted for Masoud Mezikian due to his honesty, efforts, faith and belief in Masoud Mezikian's character, courage and frankness, as well as the slogans raised before the election. The consensus government was proposed after that, and the people had received a reasonable meaning from it, which of course found another meaning, and now they are waiting for the real consensus desired by the president to be formed.

Referring to the sensitive conditions of the country and diplomatic efforts, the reformist political activist clarified: We all understand the current serious situation. The regime of Israel and the United States, as Iran's long-standing and historical enemies, are trying to push Iran towards chaos. On the other hand, all the efforts of the doctors and his accompanying and like-minded team are to prevent a war from happening and the efforts of the negotiating team and the president to reach a dignified result. The kind face, humility, sincerity and concern of the president have so far persuaded many people in international forums to enter into friendship with Iran and this approach has been effective in various fields as well.

People are upset with the lack of accountability of the responsible institutions and bureaucracies

The Secretary General of the New Thoughtful Muslim Women Jamiat emphasized that people's dissatisfaction is not limited to livelihood issues, and continued: People have patience for their livelihoods, but their most important impatience, discomfort and annoyance is due to the unresponsiveness of the responsible institutions and the terrible bureaucracy that makes many of the clients of government institutions suffer from an exhausting experience. People do not have the necessary resilience against these conditions, and they do not need to endure such a situation.

Many problems will be solved if government institutions perform their duties correctly

Stating that solving many of the people's daily problems does not require a lot of budget, he said: If various institutions (except for those related to other forces) from ministries to government-affiliated companies and institutions, if they get order and perform their duties properly, many of the basic problems of the people will be solved. We expect that a plan will be formulated in the presidential institution to settle these disturbances and pay more attention to the citizenship and social rights of the people.

Emphasizing the necessity of establishing a direct communication channel between the president and the people, Rakei stated: Doctors should have an independent communication channel for themselves and the government that is not monopolized by radio and television. Because despite people's annoyances, only one voice is transmitted to society, which does not reflect the majority of people's views. The president's honesty and courage should be used to communicate directly with the people and listen to their demands.

Emphasizing the necessity of providing the possibility of raising people's demands directly, the former parliament member said: In the current situation, despite all the dissatisfactions and severe livelihood problems, the people are worried and disappointed that they cannot hear an answer to their problems and demands directly from the responsible institutions. In the current situation, people have a deep need for accountability and transparency from government institutions and from the president himself. They need to know to whom to convey their demands and from which source to hear the answer. Now is the time to form this communication channel in any way possible.

Emphasizing the role of elites and parties in conveying people's demands, the reformist political activist said: elites, political activists and long-established parties of the country can play a role in reflecting people's problems and demands. The direct response of the officials to the people and listening to their demands can be even more important than livelihood issues and help to increase the resilience of the society against economic problems.
