Goodarzi: Massive Public Turnout Shattered the Enemy's Complex Calculations

Mahallat – A member of the Presidium of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said that the continuous and spontaneous presence of the people at nighttime gatherings has shattered the enemy's complex calculations.

According to Mehr reporter, Abbas Gudarzi said on Wednesday evening at the gathering of 228 people and the memorial of martyrs of the lower neighborhoods: the presence of people in night gatherings should be considered a great miracle because people showed up in the square with will and awareness and even children and teenagers took on responsibilities such as carrying the flag and carrying out cultural programs with love and passion.

He added: "This presence has provided a valuable opportunity to transfer the culture of jihad, martyrdom and holy defense to the new generation, and it is appropriate to use the capacity of students in various departments, such as performance, praise, recitation of the Qur'an and chanting, so that teenagers can play a role in the field of cultural and social activities more than before."

Honoring the memory of the martyrs, the member of the Islamic Council said: We owe our life and security today to the struggle of the martyrs, and if it were not for the sacrifice of these loved ones, it was not clear what fate would have awaited the country.

Referring to the martyr's leader's prediction about the presence of people on the scene, Godarzi said: Before his martyrdom, he had emphasized that in the event of an accident, people would come to the square again, and today we are witnessing the fulfillment of this prediction, a presence that shows that no person or group can claim to have brought the people to the square, but the people themselves stayed on the scene with their will and determination.

He clarified: The power of countries is not limited to military equipment and missiles, and it is the conscious and continuous presence of the people, the social capital and soft power of Iran that can change the equations of the enemy, and this capacity is an important distinction in the political structure of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Referring to the goals announced by the enemy during the imposed Ramadan war, Godarzi said: To evaluate the outcome of a war, one must check to what extent the goals of the hostile side have been achieved, because the enemy entered the field with goals such as changing the political system, dividing Iran, and weakening the country's defense power, but these goals were not achieved and the Iranian nation upset the enemy's calculations by standing up.

Gudarzi continued: In the narration of the events of the recent war, one should not focus only on the difficulties and costs, but also the narration of the resistance and achievements of the Iranian nation should be told so that the facts of this resistance reach the ears of the world.

He stated: The duality of war and peace, in a way that accuses the Iranian nation of warmongering, is incorrect, the Iranian nation did not initiate the war, and at the same time, it is not submissive, and it must be acknowledged that resistance does not mean starting a war, but rather means defending the country and standing against aggression.

Referring to the presence of people in the night gatherings, the member of the Islamic Council Board added: The presence of different sections of the society, despite the difference in views and the degree of cooperation with political currents, shows the importance of maintaining national solidarity, which should be appreciated by all the people who understand the conditions of the country and stand together to protect national interests.

Referring to the role of the armed forces in the defense of the country, Godarzi said: the armed forces and the people are working together to protect Iran, and the importance of this cooperation should not be neglected, and as regional experiences and the consequences of insecurity in neighboring countries have proven, there is a need to be vigilant against threats and maintain internal cohesion.

Pointing to the necessity of social responsibility, he pointed out: In difficult situations, each person must determine his share and responsibility towards the society, from businesses and employees to teachers, clerics and military forces, everyone is responsible for the events of the society and must be accountable for their performance.

Referring to the emotional impact of the presence of children and teenagers in night gatherings, the member of the Islamic Council said: Observing children who wave the flag with passion and participate in programs, makes one reflect on one's responsibility towards the future generation.

Goderzi emphasized: People's presence in night gatherings is a manifestation of their social participation and responsibility, and the importance of transferring the values of sacrifice, resistance and defense of the country to the future generations.
