Flood Damage Hits 9 Villages in Maraveh Tappeh; Crisis Management Funds Awaited for Bridge Construction and Channel Dredging

The Maraveh Tappeh governor, noting that recent flooding damaged nine villages in the county and partially destroyed the Kalateh village bridge, said that despite 145 millimeters of rainfall recorded in one area of the county, preventive measures limited the damage. However, proper reconstruction of the damaged bridge and comprehensive dredging of flood channels require funding from crisis management resources.

Referring to the recent flood damage to 9 villages in this city and the damage to a part of the bridge in Kalate village, the governor of Maravehtepe said: despite 145 mm of rain being recorded in one of the city's areas, preventive measures limited the damage. However, the basic construction of the damaged bridge and the basic dredging of the flood channels require funding from the crisis management sources.
