Nationwide Strike in Spain Changes UEFA Calendar / Barcelona and Arsenal Matches Postponed Over Housing Costs!

The women's Champions League match between Barcelona and Arsenal was postponed due to the strike in Spain protesting rising housing costs.

According to Sport Se, the match between the women's teams of Barcelona and Arsenal in the European Champions League was postponed by one day due to the general strike in Spain.

UEFA announced by publishing an official statement that the match between Barcelona and Arsenal in the group stage of the European Women's Champions League will be held on November 12 instead of November 11. This match, which is scheduled to be played at the Nou Camp Stadium, will be held at the same time as the previous one, and the starting whistle will sound at 18:45 CET. But the game is delayed by a day.

The main reason for this decision was the official request of Barcelona managers from UEFA. Last week, the Spanish club called for a review of the timing of the match, following calls for a general strike across Spain to protest the housing crisis.

UEFA decided to postpone the game for 24 hours, with the coordination of both clubs and based on the regulations of the competition, due to the lack of necessary platforms to organize the match on the previous date.

The organizers of the match announced that the tickets purchased by the spectators for the new date are completely valid and the fans will not have any problem entering the Nou Camp. In addition, fans who are unable to attend the new date for any reason can get a full refund of their ticket without any deductions.
