The short film "1895" directed by Soroush El-Bakhshinaini, will be screened in the artificial intelligence section of the 43rd Tehran International Short Film Festival on Monday, October 27.
According to Ambassador Arjan, citing the public relations of the film, the poster of the short story film "1895" directed and produced by Soroush Al-Bakhshinaini was unveiled.
This film, which was produced using Google's artificial intelligence tools, is present in the International Cinema 11 (Artificial Intelligence) competition of the 43rd Tehran International Short Film Festival. The short film "1895" will be screened on Monday, October 27, 1405, at 11:00, in the first screening and hall 10 of the festival.
The story of this film is told in a future where artificial intelligence has dominated the filmmaking industry and traditional cinema tools have been transferred to the museum. In the meantime, digital cameras go to negative cameras to reclaim the position of the past cinema and form an alliance to counter the dominance of artificial intelligence; A union whose destiny is determined in a different way. The title of the film refers to 1895; A year that is considered a turning point in the history of cinema. With a fantasy narrative, this work juxtaposes the past and future of cinema and deals with the relationship between technology, filmmaking tools and the identity of cinema.
All stages of the production of this film were done using Google's artificial intelligence facilities and tools, including Google Gemini and Flow.
Considering that "1895" was produced about a year ago and with artificial intelligence tools available at that time, its evaluation should be done considering the technical possibilities of the fall of 1404.
Previously, the short film "Palestine in my eyes" as the first experience of Soroush Al-Bakhshinaini in making a fiction film with artificial intelligence and the first hyper-real short film of Iranian cinema, had entered the 40th Tehran International Short Film Festival.
The actors of the short film "1895" include: Siavash al-Bakhshinaini and Soroush al-Bakhshinaini (writers), Soroush al-Bakhshinaini (director and producer), Shaqaig Tungestani and Soroush al-Bakhshinaini (editing), Mohdtseh Timuri (sound designer) and Mohammad Kafili (media consultant).
