EXCLUSIVE: Apple TV has added 12 people to the cast of Season 2 of its action movie Down Cemetery Road.

Martin Clunes (Dr. Martin), Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), Patterson Joseph (Wonka), Asia Shah (Prey), Dimitri Leonidas (Foundation), Paul Chahidi (This Country), Liz White (Long Shadow), Amanda Abington (Sherlock), Jeff Rowell (Spehlo Horshley), S. Greppi (One Day) and Yali Topol Margalith (Alice and Steve) join the cast of the adaptation of Mick Heron's book.

Emma Thompson is executive producing and stars Zoe Boehm opposite Ruth Wilson, who plays Sarah Tucker. Morwenna Banks (Slow Horses) returns as head writer and executive producer. The series is adapted from Heron's series of books in Oxford, and the second season is based on the novels The Last Voice You Hear and Smoke and Whispers. Heron's other Apple TV adaptation, Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman, was recently renewed for an eighth season.

Season 1 was released on Apple TV last October. Season 2 sees Boehm (Thompson) and Trafford (Wilson) in pursuit of another complex mystery. According to the logline, “After a woman falls in front of a train, Zoe is called in to investigate, but this seemingly simple case soon turns her life upside down as she and Sarah find themselves navigating the dark side of the glamorous world of art and antiquities. Things take a deadly turn when they cross paths with a brutal serial killer who will stop at nothing to cover up his crimes.

60Forty Films is reproducing. Banks co-writes and serves as executive producer on 60Forty, along with Jamie Lorensson, Håkan Costa, Keith Lewis and Tom Nash, and Thompson and Heron. Börkur Sigþórssen (Insomnia) serves as the original director for the second season.
