Johnny Depp's new film based on the classic story A Christmas Carol will be released next month. Now a new poster of the movie has been released.

Depp stars in the new movie Ebenezer. Tramel Tillman, Depp's co-star who plays the role of the Christmas spirit, said about the actor's first encounter with the new look:

To be honest, when I first saw her in full makeup, I didn't recognize her at all. Johnny was really excited to play Scrooge in his own way.

Barry Gower, the film's facial prosthetics designer, also said about working with Depp:

Johnny accepts and participates in the make-up process with great enthusiasm. He makes suggestions like adding moles to the character's face. He even wanted his chin to be a bit taller and suggested any changes that would help shape the character better.

The new poster takes a close look at Johnny Depp as Scrooge, alongside Trammell Tillman as the Ghost of Christmas Present, Robert Strange as the Ghost of Christmas Future, and Andrea Riseborough as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Depp's co-stars in the film believe that he enjoyed the opportunity to play this character-driven role. The actor was previously known for dramatic changes in appearance and behavior in roles such as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean and the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland.

Rupert Grint, who played Bob Cratchit in the film, said about Depp's abilities:

I think Johnny brings a unique quality to everything he does. I think this role is perfect for him.

Ian McKellen, who plays Marley in the film, said of Depp's performance:

Johnny delivers a performance you've never seen before. Of course, you expect the same from Johnny Depp, don't you? He always makes a surprise appearance.

Daisy Ridley, who plays Clara, also said about Depp's acting style:

This is what Johnny does better than anything else; Bringing to life exaggerated and exaggerated characters that at the same time have a deeply human side.

The movie Ebenezer will be released in theaters on November 13.
