Billions of Euros in New Aid to Ukraine: Norway's Plan Announced

Norwegian authorities detailed the volume of aid allocated to Kyiv and specified the shares for military and civilian sectors.

Ambassador Arjan: With the announcement of the Norwegian authorities, the amount of aid allocated to Kyiv was explained and the contribution of the military and civilian sectors was determined.

In an interview with reporters, Storeh said: Norway's aid to Ukraine this year will reach eight billion euros.

He added: We plan to take the same approach for 2027 and allocate another eight billion euros to Ukraine next year.

The Prime Minister of Norway further noted: 70% of this aid is allocated to meet Ukraine's military needs.

According to Ambassador Arjan, Russia had previously announced that sending military aid to Ukraine will prevent a peaceful solution to end the war in this country and will involve the member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) directly in this conflict.
