The head of the National Center for Weather Forecasting and Crisis Management said that showers and thunderstorms are expected in 10 provinces today (October 14), with these conditions continuing in some parts of the country in the coming days, and warned of strong winds over the next five days in eastern Iran.

According to Ambassador Arjan, in a conversation with Ambassador Arjan, Sadegh Ziyaian, referring to the general forecast based on synoptic and forward-looking maps, stated: Based on the analysis of the latest meteorological forecast maps, in the next two days, in some areas of the provinces of West Azarbaijan, East Azarbaijan, the eastern highlands of Alborz and Tehran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad, south of Isfahan, the northern half of Fars and Kerman, and north of Hormozgan, there will be an increase in clouds, showers in some hours. Rain, thunder, temporary strong wind and in areas prone to dust are predicted.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks further said: Friday and Saturday (October 24 and 25) will be cloudy, light showers, thunderstorms in the northwest, Zagros and central Alborz highlands. On Sunday (October 26), scattered rain sometimes accompanied by lightning will continue in the northwest, west, Alborz highlands, Zagros slopes and highlands, northern Fars, southern half of Kerman, some areas of Hormozgan and some central areas of the country.

According to him, during the next five days, strong winds and sometimes rising dust are expected in the east of the country.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks said about the weather situation in Tehran for the next two days: tomorrow (October 23rd), the sky in Tehran will be slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, in some hours there will be an increase in clouds and a light wind with a minimum temperature of 19 and a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, and during Friday (October 24th) it will be slightly cloudy and partly cloudy.

In the end, Ziyaian said: "During tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, Ahvaz will be the hottest with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and Shahrekord will be the coldest centers of the country with a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius."
