5-Year Stadium Ban for 13-Year-Old Dutch Fan Jimmy Jump

A 13-year-old teenager has been banned from attending stadiums for five years due to his behavior.

According to "Verzeh Se", it was supposed to be a memorable moment. But now, a 13-year-old boy would probably remember the night quite differently.

During the Nations League match between Germany and the Netherlands (1-1) in Amsterdam, a 13-year-old boy stormed the pitch just before the end of the game. His goal: to get a selfie with Dutch star Tijani Reinders. But this action will now have severe consequences. The Dutch Football Federation will deal with him severely.

This selfie will cost a lot for this young fan. The Dutch Football Federation has banned this boy from entering the stadium for five years. As such, he is not allowed to watch professional games in Dutch stadiums until 2031.

This happened at the end of the second half. The 13-year-old boy ran onto the pitch and headed straight for Reinders. On the wet pitch, he nearly lost his balance and slid into the midfield.

Despite this slip, the teenager achieved his goal: he got the photo he wanted with the Dutch star. But when he was about to return to the audience, he was stopped by the security forces.

In addition to being banned from entering the stadium for five years, the boy must pay a fine of 100 euros. And this probably won't be the end of the story. According to Dutch media reports, the Dutch Football Association is investigating whether more fees can be demanded from the parents of the 13-year-old boy. This may include possible sanctions from UEFA.

The federation justifies its strict approach by referring to the existing regulations. A five-year stadium ban for such pitch invasions is provided for in the regulations for the 2026/27 season.

This is not the first case of its kind in the Netherlands: in 2021, another 13-year-old fan was also banned from entering the stadium for five years after storming the pitch during a national team match against Montenegro. He then ran onto the field to take a selfie with Memphis Depay (32).
